So far so good and wow what a great ride! Shop said no issues at all. And the customer service from Roadmaster was stellar. They had a rep in contact with the shop through the instal and the guy called me later in the day to check in. Nice touch! Tried to take some photos, hope they are clear enough. They did say that they put the bolt on the last or second to last spot to get ample clearance with the sensor.

How are these doing one year later? Any issues? Do you like the RAS?

I have the system on my truck and that tab got bent as well from contact.
maybe it is a part of the FX4 package (to make those protective tabs underneath the auto leveling headlight arm longer(?)), but on body roll like over a large speed bump the tab will contact the side of the RAS bracket.
Anyone else seen this? I have the HD RAS version BTW..

I have contacted RAS (excellent customer service BTW, wish all companies had their level) and they gave me a few suggestions to adjust. Will get it in the garage soon when I have time and will update if their suggestions fix it.

I have the same with the HD ones on my powerboost... I just trimmed the tab with a cutoff wheel and my rub / squeak is gone. RAS states that you can shift the entire thing forward to avoid contact by moving the front cross bolt to a different set of holes... looks like the OP has it on the second set of holes, maybe the third would be enough to clear?

Here is what I did, removed an 1/6-1/8th of an inch from the bracket:

Known issue. Swap the RAS to the other side. No need to modify.

Swapping it doesn't fix... if you look close at my video, you will see that it was already swapped. The swap helped when it was unloaded, but not with a load in the bed.

If you level the truck by raising the front, will the headlights still level automatically? Or does the auto-level only work when there is a load present either from hauling or towing?

Mine did, but there are manual adjusters if for some reason yours it too close to electric limits

Does anyone know the size of the Nut for the sensor braket? I tried M18s and they are too big.

Got the same issue as everybody in this thread. Bolt is hitting the metal fin from the light sensor bracket. Now I have to spend hours redo everything again and swipe sides.
This issue has been reported since years, it would take RAS 20 minutes to update their instruction to say to have the bolt pointing outward, but instead they let hundreds of customers having to redo everything for years. I truly can’t understand.
