Did they catch the perp?Correct, I accidently Got got spike belted by the Edmonton Police a year ago next month, I Police chase was coming up behind me, they intended to spike the bad guy and got me instead, they took out 2 tires. Well guess what, I got towed to Fountain Tire and all they had was Cooper winter tires, they mounted them on the front, there was 50% more tread depth than the rear, I drove 200 km home and the next day a new noise in the drive train started, a week went by and I bought 4 new tires. I took the truck to Ford, my transfer case was shot. So I had to buy a total of 6 tires, 1 rim and a transfer case from being wrongfully spike belted im out almost $5,000.00 that's not including the files I lost from work or my time. I now have a Lawsuit on Edmonton Police Service and Fountain Tire they want to settle for pennies on the dollar, I naturally want to go right to trial.
Replace all 4 tires or you might regret it.
Well one silver lining I suppose. I hope no one else was injured, and hope you get reimbursed for your loss.In the end they did, he crashed the stolen Lordco Auto Parts car in to a strip mall in south Edmonton i was told.
No, I have filed a statement of claim, I intend to take my losses right to trial if I get my way.Well one silver lining I suppose. I hope no one else was injured, and hope you get reimbursed for your loss.
