I was in the front door today installing component woofer. I noticed the plug only has two wires in it? Is the tweeter in the A pilller fed from inside the kick panel or something? If so does anyone know the wire color? 2022, b and o 8 speaker.

tweets are powered by the head unit on B&O. All 4 door speakers and sub are via amp in the back.

See attached from 2022 workshop manual, hope that helps (wire color codes indicated on diagram, lines depicting all-white wires don't show well)

No, A-pillar tweeter wires do not route to / through the doors

Note that for the 8-speaker B&O the tweeters are fed from the ACM (aka 'head unit') located in the dash but all other speakers including dashboard center are fed from the DSP module located on the cab back panel

So strange -- the MME has same amp and "8" channels but splits rear door speakers into tiny tweets calling it a 10 speaker system. 3 small front tweets / center speakers run from head unit using the same rear amp. Also claims dual channels for the sub.

Not so strange I'd suggest. Ford has lots of hardware modules that are superficially, and to a great degree substantively, common among different applications but with meaningfully different firmware, programming, and even subtle hardware tweaks to meet the specific objectives of those different applications. It's a smart way to increase efficiencies from component design all the way through to production while also allowing a high degree of optimization for different applications.

IMO it's a mistake to assume that the audio configuration for a Mustang Mach E would apply to an F150, superficial commonality notwithstanding; they are, after all, very different acoustic environments.

Thanks, I think its easiest just to run from aftermarket amp up each side and drop a new line from the a piller to the kick, rather than try to tie in behind head unit, 2022 Lightning, I'd hate to mess with that screen situation.

It all depends on if you are dropping in a new amp as noted above. If you are and it is behind the back seat the path to get the wire to the tweeter is super easy up the channels on each side of the floor. The plastic door sills pop up, the rubber door seals pull right off (and just push back on). Super easy to route to the tweeter location. You can use all of the other existing speaker wire to the doors.

I'm having lines run to the amp from the primary 6 speaker positions. Installers have multi-wire bundles that make it very easy to pull several channels in one go. The tweeter isn't too far away from where the door's wires enter it.

Don't install new tweeters w/ out having a protection circuit on them (cap).
