Trouble with stake pocket tie down hook install

I'm guessing that these are not waterproof. Right?

I'm trying to figure out why Anonymous1977 cannot use these under his tonneau cover.

The tonneau cover will cover it then.

I figured you would need the tonneau cover off, folded, or rolled up to tie anything down. So are you are trying to tie something to the top of the tonneau cover? I can see how it will be in the way if that is what you are considering.

Even if I roll up the tonneau cover I have a flexible one and there is a piece of Velcro attached to the rail front to back that I cannot get under to install the tie downs.

I would be interested to know what tonneau cover you have. It seems like it would be much more watertight than what l have at the moment.

I got the tiger one from Amazon.

I see your problem. My cover on my 21 F150 fits inside of that. It does not interfere with the stake pockets.
