Looks like I’ll hold off until my OE shafts fail, then I’ll consider the Tremor ones especially with the issues some of you have mentioned.

Quick question: what about the TORSEN differential? Any potential issues I should be aware of ?

Appreciate everyone’s input in this thread!

I doubt the original shafts will ever wear out. I only added the Tremor shafts because I was already rehearing and adding the LSD.

My limited, all pavement experience with the Torsen has been good so far. I chose the Torsen because that’s what Ford uses and they spec the diff to last the life of the vehicle with oil changes.

Appreciate the input! The reason I think my OE shafts might eventually fail is because my truck sees a lot of aggressive off-roading, and I’d rather not have them give out in the wrong place at the wrong time. ?

It’s lifted 2.5 inches (Fox 2.5 kit with external reservoir) and running Icon delta pro UCAs, which together give much more travel compared to stock so I’m keeping an eye on anything that might be under extra stress.

Also, good to hear the Torsen’s been working well for you—that’s definitely reassuring.

I finally ordered the parts from Ford Performance — both the Tremor front half shafts and the Torsen front differential (Part #M-4204-F150LS).

This will be an upgrade from the stock open diff, and I want to make sure the shop has everything needed to install it without delays.

What other parts should I order for the diff install?

I’ve read in a few threads about possibly needing carrier bearings and ring gear bolts. would really appreciate confirmation and part numbers from those who’ve done this upgrade.

Would really appreciate the help.

Don’t know about internals but I’d add a Raptor diff cover while you are at it for the drain plug.
