I have a 23 BAP Lariat 5.0. I wanted duals. The 22 BAP 5.0 did not have duals but the eco boosts did. When they made the 5.0 the standard engine in the Tremor, the 23 5.0 BAP got duals. When I start it, it sounds like my Gt350. Mellows out and has a nice but controlled rumble. No drone.

This is exactly what I want to hear! I asked in one of the Facebook groups yesterday to get another bit of input and the response has been the same. This seems like a very good route to go for anyone who just doesn't want anything overly loud especially with cylinder deactivation.

I've been looking through the parts catalogs and so far I haven't found anything the times I've checked. Pictures would certainly be appreciated.

You also may be able to find a take off. A lot of guys still are swapping out the resonator and muffler assembly to put in the special replacements from companies like Corsa and borla. I have a feeling there will be ones available if you do a little searching for an inexpensive price.

Yes, if I can find the muffler part number, may do a custom exit, so dont have to buy and paint all new bumper.

Yep exactly. I don't like straight out the back. I want it behind the passenger side tire with dual tips. You could even have it go from two into one and just run a Corsa style tip.

I just converted my 5.0 single exhaust to a Tremor dual exhaust. It growls when you start it, then idles with a deep mellow tone. At speed, the same is true through 2K or so RPM then it sorta disappears if you will. That said, when CD kicks in, it's noticeable, but not anything like my single exhaust was IMO. I still have my resonator in place. I'm very happy with the conversion. Not to loud, no crackle and pop, no drone what so ever, just right IMO.

Hope this helps....
I’m looking at doing a tremor bumper swap and installing the tremor exhaust. Did you buy the OEM one straight from ford? Did they do the install? What’s the part number for the exhaust system? Thanks!

I also want to add the Tremor/BAP dual exhaust but instead of having it exit at the bumper, I want to have a local exhaust shop bend the pipes so they exit sort of where the single exhaust exits but one on each side.

I fix software bugs!
Highly recommend it. Don't expect it to be loud or raspy or snap-crackle-pop or roaring, etc. It's not a Borla Atak or Corsa Extreme.... it's a deep, throaty, rumble, humble aggressive like sound. I'm very happy with the mod.
Did you buy the OEM one straight from ford?
I bought all the parts from Ford, except for the muffler and tail pipes. I hunted for months and could not find them anywhere at the time. Then one day a member here DM'd me offering his Tremor exhaust take-off.
Did they do the install?
No, I did it in my garage. I'm sure any muffler shop would do it for a small fee.
What’s the part number for the exhaust system?
There isn't one part number for the Ford "exhaust system" that I'm aware of. The member's here spent the time to research a parts list. A couple of things to keep in mind, what trim do you have? Do you have painted or chrome bumpers? I'm not sure the rear bumper end caps come in chrome.

Use ML3Z-17906-LAPTM if you have sensors on the side.
Use ML3Z-17906-KAPTM if you only have rear facing sensors (back up sensors only).

The rear back up sensors are relocated farther out to allow for the exhaust cut out. Therefore it is recommended you order the new sensor retaining rings to ensure the sensor faces properly. Some owners have modified the original part so it's up to you.

Note: Use ML3Z-17906-KAPTM Bumper Assembly Rear (no side facing sensors / only needs sensor rings SAPTM/SBPTM below)
