Not a fan generally of my transmission performance. Have had it checked twice, including software update and a ride along with tech while checking all pressures, shift times etc on the computer. Supposedly all “normal”. He checked trans fluid and it’s right at the correct level, which I also have verified myself too.

With that said, the truck is extremely smooth when cold. Not necessarily cold ambient temps just first driving it after sitting in the garage overnight. It then starts to get more clunky once it is up to operating temperature. Nothing severe just some clunky up and downshifts at times.

Does this tell me anything that I can pass along to ford? Sticking valves? Bad valve body?

I have a 2024 F150 3.5L Ecoboost TT with a 10R80 transmission. Yes, what you are describing is what my truck does. It runs great for about 30 minutes after startup. Smooth as can be. After driving at highway speeds at 68mph and up, I get a minor vibration in the seat and floor board. Dealer road force balanced the wheels and it helped but vibration is still there. Then after exiting highway, I get infrequent clunky downshifts after that at about 30 - 20 mph. Dealer says that's normal and won't check drive shaft, slip yoke. I'm told that greasing the slip yoke, applying grease to the splines, will help with both these issues. Tired of fighting with Ford (3 visits). Headed to a drive shaft shop in the near future. FordTech Makuloco on YT has a video about this if that helps.

Here's the video I was speaking of. I had an 05 F150 5.4L which I reluctantly just traded. His videos kept my truck running strong.
