Transmission and Temp Gauges

Other than using Forscan to enable numbers under the gauges, is there a way I can see the actual transmission and engine temps in a sub menu?

I feel like at one time this was an option on my dad's old 2011 lariat. For reference, I have a 2021 xlt mid 301A.

AFAIK there's no option in the various vehicle menus to configure that on trucks that don't already have it on the display (e.g. Tremor? Raptor?).

It will stay on while you are driving. It will go away after next restart. If you want it to come back. Hold OK then start the truck. Scroll down a few times back to trans temp.

I saw a coolant temp readout but didn't see a trans temp gauge. Maybe I don't have the latest OTA update.

I found the same thing. Cool trick but I didn't see anything that said transmission temp. Is it one of the codes possibly? Thanks

My 2011 F 150 had trans temp in the menu. This 21 XLT doesn't have it. Only Lariat and up can display the temps under the gauges. That leaves an OBD2 port connection.

As I have an XLT without the digital display in the drivers cluster. Added TT via X-gauge.
I have: water temp, trans temp, air intake temp, and volts on mine. Sometimes I toggle 1 to show MPH as its easier to see. Mounted with velco drivers side corner, small neat - no wires show, no cutting etc.

I think it was $150

Ford definitely could improve the digital dash in the F150 and provide a lot more engine data. This is the dash from my wife's '21 Jeep Grand Cherokee L.
