Funny how I obsessively refresh tracker with no changes and all of a sudden it changes. Now shows shipped with estimated arrival date of August 8th, hope it holds true!

Congrats! Did you also get the 500 accessory or gift card deal? Did you confirm any rebates prior to showing up?I’m still in-transit and am planning to do a longer video on my buying process and Granger, but did want to report back that all was successful, and pretty much flawless with my Granger pickup, save for Lyft standing me up for my ride to the airport in NH and creating a last minute scramble (obviously not Granger’s fault).
Chip picked me up at the airport, and when I arrived my truck was outside, washed, gassed, and ready to go. Price was exactly what was quoted, minus $1600 in rebates, which included the $1000 “Look Ma, I special ordered!” Rebate, a $500 “I joined the farm bureau even though I can’t even successfully grow ragweed!” Rebate, and a $100 “Here, we’ll throw you a bone” rebate that I think is the only “active” general incentive right now. As an aside, I know nothing about the Farm Bureau before hearing about it on this forum, although their website makes it seem like a great organization, and a $40 family membership got me the $500 through a 5 minutes process Online.
I had arranged financing beforehand, and Chip affixed transit tags for 15 days, and also made sure there was not front license plate bracket or dealer stickers per my request.
There was a pitch for GAP, extended warranty, and “tire and ding” coverage which I had hoped to avoid but so be it. Otherwise all paperwork and “finance office” stuff was exactly per my expectations and generally painless.
I love the car buying process, but have a healthy skepticism for car dealerships, but Granger lived up to all promises, was courteous and professional, and saved me about $8K (including rebates). I like what they’re trying to do with the fixed pricing model, low doc fees, etc. All told it probably cost a grand or so for flights, gas, etc. so I’m still ahead $7K which would be next to impossible in this environment with my local dealers So two thumbs up for Granger.
I did not get an accessory/gift card deal, unless you’re referring to the “FordPass points” that I think everyone gets and can use for accessories and whatnot. I’d not heard of the gift card deal…Congrats! Did you also get the 500 accessory or gift card deal? Did you confirm any rebates prior to showing up?
What’s the $100 one? I picked mine up from granger on Wednesday and there wasn’t one. Just curious.I did not get an accessory/gift card deal, unless you’re referring to the “FordPass points” that I think everyone gets and can use for accessories and whatnot. I’d not heard of the gift card deal…
I had confirmed the $1K and $500 verbally, but not the $100 so that was a small bonus.
100 is for the apology letter I believe for early orders. What’s the $100 one? I picked mine up from granger on Wednesday and there wasn’t one. Just curious.
I'm in Anchorage. I just ordered a couple of weeks ago. I'm flying down in November for a wedding so hopefully by then I can have it registered in AK and just drive it back with AK plates. You should be able to drive the ALCAN going north if you're an AK resident even if the border is closed. I'm just not sure what the border crossing process is like if the truck only has temporary plates.Haven't gotten to that part of my thinking yet. I may ship from Tacoma to Anchorage or drive the Alcan. I hear Canada is planning on opening the borders (at the moment anyway) to vaccinated travelers, so was hoping that (depending upon my decision), if I decide to do the Alcan that it wouldn't be a problem either way.
Where are you from and when is your Rig supposed to get to Granger?
Don’t worry on the sales tax, “the man” will get his/her piece of the action when you attempt to register in your home state.I'm in Anchorage. I just ordered a couple of weeks ago. This is my first time buying a vehicle without any sales taxes. I'm pretty excited about that! haha
That sounds awesome, share some pics of your journey when it’s done!I am coming from Alaska to Granger. Saved me over 9k ordering from Granger. In AK, the Ford dealer tacks on a 2k "dealers markup". They don't realize how ridiculous it is. Anyway, Granger gave a great deal, so I am headed there when my truck arrives.
Truck ordered 5/3, built 6/23 and in transit. Ford estimated deliver is 6/6 to 6/12. Can't wait!
Lariat, 502A, Anti-Matter Blue, FX-4, Max Tow, Hybrid, 7.2kw...very excited!
Have to drive it back to Seattle (will be a 2500 mile trip and visiting family on the way), but then put on a Barge back to Ak.
I had the exact same thoughts, why is it so hard for local dealers?I love the car buying process, but have a healthy skepticism for car dealerships, but Granger lived up to all promises, was courteous and professional, and saved me about $8K (including rebates). Just curious, what rate did they beat? My CU looks like 2.29 and Ford is 1.9 for 60 months.I picked up my truck yesterday (7/20 )after my 3 hour drive from KC.
Granger was fantastic. They had the truck quickly prepped after it arrived 7/19. Being so close and down to one vehicle in the family it was welcomed. Deal was exactly as it was advertised.
-Albert was great helping me order and then reorder my trucks. RIP man.
-Zach(owner) was more than responsive clearing up Issues that popped up over the 7 months. No lip service and all actions. Made the wait so much easier.
-Chip did a great job setting up the final delivery and walking me through the interior and the features.
-I had great financing lined up but Eric was able to beat my rate when I gave him the chance. I didn't get any hard sales on warranty stuff but I had mentioned i was looking at 8 year/125k online.
I plan to buy my wife a SUV in the next few years and I will be back up to Granger motors for sure.
Many thanks, @GrangerChip

Just checked again and it’s 1.99% for 36/48 months... seems like at this point it’s splitting hairs. One of the better rates I’ve found so far is 1.89% for 12-72 months from St. Paul Federal Credit Union. I’m calling them tomorrow to see if there are conditions on that rate, like direct deposit or auto pay on the loan.
