Another bump on this - had the same issue on my XLT and pulling/replacing fuse 91 resolved my issue (knock on wood). (y)I also noticed about half of my fuses weren't seated all the way in properly.

Had same issue with 2021 F150 hybrid
Pulled all fuses and reinstalled some acted as if they were barely in slots. Pulled all no blown fuses put into slotted and reseated and sprayed WD40 into connectors and dried with air and everything went back to normal. Thanks for posting fuse numbers big help.

This issue popped up for me today. I have a new 2022 Powerboost I just bought a few months ago (never have towed with it).

Glad I checked here! I’ve never touched a fuse before and I was able to fix it by just taking it out and putting it back in. Dealers where I am right now are booked up for weeks when I initially called around.

Thanks for the info, everybody!

I connected a boat trailer that had some really old / frayed wiring. Connected trailer's 5-way into truck's 7-way adapter, all worked fine initially. Eventually trailer wiring frayed off completely or shorted out, and I received a "Trailer Brake Module Fault" message on the dash.

No big deal, or so I thought. Disconnect trailer, and hit "OK" on message. Didn't work. For the past week I get the error message everytime I start the truck. Also of note, I have a "fast" blinker indicator sound, but all blikers are flashing at normal speed.

In an effort to clear the message, I went so far as to delete the associated trailer profile, checked all fuses related to a trailer (highlighted in red), and disconnected the battery for 10 minutes. Still get the error message and fast blinker sound.

I've read on other forums that disconnecting the battery for 20+ minutes has cleared the fault. I disconnected for 10 minutes, thinking that should be sufficient... But perhaps not long of enough time?

Any ideas? Seems like it would be a simple process to reset / clear.

So I have a 2021 F-150 Lariat fully loaded and my fuse box does not have a fuse 55.

I desperately need help as I am getting the same trailer tow issue on my display

This has been on-going ever since I bought the truck 18 months now. I have taken it to the dealer three times to be worked on and they can't seem to find the problem. They hook their tester to both the 7 pin and 4 pin connector and tell me that all the lights are green therefore it must be my trailer. The light goes off when I am driving down the road

Anyone know what type of fuse this is? Would like to order some spares, but can't find them at the local auto parts stores... Would like to avoid a trip to the dealer for them. Thanks.
I bought them on Amazon:
Littelfuse Slotted Mcase 32 VDC Cartridge Fuse Assortment Kit $69.99 for a kit of them

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your F-150 concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

Well, this has come back a second time. This is second time in just under 8 months. I found the service ticket from when this happened before. I will attempt to fix it myself since I now have over 40k miles.

I had pulled and checked all the fuses I thought might be related, but evidently my old eyes can't tell a blown fuse from a good one!

I tried buying a new fuse for #91, but it's one of the new-fangled fuses and every auto parts store I checked didn't carry them; they told me I had to go to a Ford dealer.

So I pulled a similar 20amp fuse from #34 "Auxiliary Power Point", put it in #91, and bam, "Trailer Brake Module Fault" message and faster blinker issue went away!

I ended up taking the #91 fuse apart to see if it was really blown, and it ended up falling apart, but I'm sure it was blown, just not easy to see with the opaque semi-clear plastic over it.

Now I'm trying to find out where I can get spare fuses of this type, but can't determine what "type" of fuse this is. Have been reviewing the info here:

https://car-fuse.blogspot.com/2020/12/2021-ford-f-150-fuse-panel-diagram.html

Anyone know the type of the fuse in the image?

Bill - I pulled the 30 amp fuse #42 for the trailer control module, and it appeared good (at least not obviously blown). Nevertheless I bought several 20, 30, and 40 amp type M fuses from my NAPA auto parts store. The 30 amp is slightly shorter, but clicked in solidly. Bingo - the trailer control module fault disappeared, as well as the fast clicking turn signal. Don’t know what I did but it worked for now.

Just wanted to thank you all, #91 was causing my errors and not supplying brake/blinker to trailer, 91 was blown and was a quick $5 fix. This forum is awesome!

Had this happen last week when I pulled my boat out, but found I had faulty led lights on my trailer. When I unplugged the trailer it went away.
