I'm getting a new toll tag for my 2023 F-150.
Any warnings for placement (camera, rain sensor, etc). There is a space between the 75th anniversary decal and the mirror attachment- OK?

It all depends on how well they read on your roads, but I put my State Farm Drive Safe and Save beacon way at the back of the moon roof - even when the shade is open I don't see it. For the actual toll tag - in TX they'll bill you by reading your license plates - so I never put it on. It is required at the airports, so I pull the tag out of the console and hold it up to the window. Just a personal preference I hate to see those things.

I have mine behind the rearview mirror. All sensors and cameras are behind trim pieces, the only thing you could really interfere with would be a light sensor.

Very interesting!
It is a Texas toll tag. In the past, we also used it in Oklahoma. Our children have moved from Oklahoma and my only need is on Texas tolls at present.
So, on my first trip I will not mount it.

I have mine up near the rearview mirror on the passenger side. The windshield has some dots, that's the area you want to put it in.

I haven't had the tag physically on a car in 6 years. They bill me perfectly. I did get a letter once that the rules say the tag needs to be on the car and they hadn't detected mine so wondering if it was lost and gave me a warning. I threw that letter where it belonged and am still trucking along 2 years later. So they might try to act like the almighty once in a while, but ignoring them seems to work.

Those express lanes do get pricey. They have another stupid beacon you can get an put in the car and then if more than one phone connect to it via bluetooth to show more than one person is in the car, then you get a cheaper price, but otherwise you better bring your vaseline along - they get pricey.
