I've long been looking for upper tie-down brackets to install in the bed. Finally found some, these are made by Built Right Industries. Got a set of two. They offer a set of four but, given the Auxiliary fuel tank I've put in, I cannot get adequate clearance to install them. These were super easy to install. I have a Milwaukee M12 Impact Driver and it worked like a champ. Now I can put an upper tie-down strap across loads and then keep them tight against the tailgate.

Built right makes some really nice stuff for our trucks. Those tie down brackets look great. I bought there drivers side rear seat release kit. I makes it super easy to fold it down for cleaning the rear window. Plus there's a little space on the floor behind the rear seat to store things.

I'm trying to get used to the bed tie down points in my 2023. I got WAY to used to the ones in the 2005 being right against the tail gate because it made it really easy to run a strap through the handles of gas cans. Someone asked if I was afraid someone was gonna steal my gas one time. I said no I just don't want them sliding up to the front of the bed. That drop in bed liner is SLICK!!

That's why put these in. I have frequently had loads I wanted as far to the rear as could be done. But I ended up using a criss-cross strapping arrangement that worked but I knew could be done better. These do exactly that. If I had not put in an aux tank, I'd've put in a set at the front of the bed.

I have four of these installed in my bed. Big fan. The OEM cleats are no where near as strong as these and more flexibility to mount to them with captive nuts included. Bike mounts, etc.

I added a set of these to mine about a month ago. They have seen a good bit of use over the past few weeks securing stacks of Costco storage bins in my bed while moving ~500 miles. Definitely glad I found them, and would recommend them to anyone looking to add additional tie down points to their bed.

I contemplated going with the OEM boxlink plates and cleats, but ultimately went this route as it would allow me a point to attach to with one less potential point of failure than the boxlink cleats.
