2023 stock xlt 16k miles. Just had the truck in for an oil change and tire rotation at 15k, I don't think that matters but after leaving the dealer I noticed a thud when accelerating. I'm pretty observant and I know it did not happen before the dealer.
The thud doesn't happen every time but when it does happen, it's usually after coming to a stop and then about .5- 1 sec after taking off. I'd say once every 10 stops I hear it. It's kind of driving me crazy hearing it.
At first, I thought the suspension could be bind from being lifted off the ground, a weird transmission shift, or maybe gas in the tank, but it sounds more like a thump and not a slosh.
Today I crawled under the truck and was pushing things around, When I hand turn my driveshaft, it makes what I think is the sound. Is this normal or should them be some type of lube to quite it? Thanks.
Thanks for any help, this is my first Ford so I'm a little nervous about any odd sounds I get.
