hey heyyyy.... minus the evo wing I have one of those stupid covers. (and I can't give it away)

If you never plan on opening or putting anything back there they are great. I didn't realize mine would be so heavy to open and I have since wanted to haul some stuff which makes it inconvenient for me. On the plus side to that though you can tell your buddies that you can't haul anything for them.

I guess I'm a dummy, since I have one on my MY22 Power Boost. Sure, it's a tad heavy, but this 75 yo can still lift it. It's chief a plus is it doesn't leak. Didn't on my old 2005 F150 and doesn't on my current one.

The heavy fiberglass are really a pain.
Expensive, heavy, and limited capabilities.

If they aren't adjusted properly or slowly "give" over time, they can cause damage/paint rub on the truck bedside or tailgate.

I'd do a soft trifold over one of those any day....and those suck too!

There is that. And I do understand other posters dislikes. I just really like the water proofness of the hard tonneau.

When I got my 2014 XLT HDPP truck, it required an 8' bed. Undercover didn't make an 8' tonneau, so I got a fiberglass cap.

And that's a very nice trunk you've got there.

My Father-in-Law has one of those fiberglass single-piece tonneau covers. As Atlee says, they are completely waterproof storage solutions and work great to keep your bed secure...until you want to haul something that goes above the bedrail line. And then you end up with an image like JJSnell's, because they're heavy as heck, so temporarily removing them just to haul for a quick trip isn't worth it. My FIL has a whole pully contraption installed on his garage ceiling so that he can pull that thing off when he needs to, but it's not a simple process.

I had one of those for a full sized high top camper shell.

Not that I removed and replaced often, or that it was trouble free but I did have the rigging set up to be a one man job.

The Dodge/Ram guys are usually also the ones driving around with their Dumbo mirrors fully extended with nothing in tow.

A custom meme, just for me?!?!? ?

I hope my post about his 'trunk' was taken in good fun. My truck is a pavement princess, and I have a Bed Rug in my garage awaiting installation, so my bed is a glorified trunk, too. Now if we could only move that engine somewhere else and get frunks like those Lightning guys...
