The only "regret" I can think at this point is regret (or maybe sympathy) for your buddies who didn't buy a 5.0 RCSB Ford F150!

The RCSB isn't "luxury vehicle" like the "Platinum" (etc...) $80K Land Yachts.

It's a "TRUCK"! In the purely traditional sense of the word.

But it sure is a pleasure to drive and any "luxury" you may be missing (in my opinion) is offset by things like...
Being able to park in a normal parking space...

Turning on a dime instead of searching for an acre or two to turn your yacht around...

Telling hitch hikers "sorry, it's a two seater"...

Climbing tight, twisty, muddy, rutted mountain road switch backs without ever having to use "reverse"...

And the expense of the neck brace you'll need if you ever have a desire to stomp on the throttle!

It has the washer on the front camera? What more luxury do you need..

I know huh... I showed that to my Toyota obsessed buddy and he was amazed!

He's going to the mountain top with me this weekend.

I think I might just turn him yet!

Even with these ridiculous "street" tires they put on at the factory.

Did you get the adjustable pedals? I'm just wondering what all the buttons are looking like on the left side of the dash?

No.. I couldn't see the need for that although in retrospect.. I wish I had just for resale value.

I didn't get that or sliding rear window (they were having leak issues at the time)... the power tailgate (I can manually lower my damn tailgate!) and Block Heater because it never snows where I live.

I DID get the "Snow Plow" option because I couldn't pay someone to install a switch (drill a hole) in my dash and wire a 50amp harness to the front of my truck for 50 bucks.

I'll be adding LEDs to the front of my truck and that Snow Plow switch will be a handy thing.

I didn't realize the snow plow prep did that or I would have done it. I thought it just isolated power draw from certain items. Probably explains why I saw a window sticker on you tube from L.A. that had snow plow prep, I was like what are they going to do with that there?

Adjustable pedals are bane of my existence…. Bought my RAM and thought brakes weren’t greatest, was going to upgrade the pads. Welp, tried to panic stop after having about 500 highway miles on it and couldn’t, after 7 months in body shop hell I was driving it again. Wasnt brakes were bad, it was adjustable pedals all the way down so I never got full braking(pedal actually hit floor during panic). wasn’t until playing around with “what’s this button do did I feel pedals move…. Shame on me for not looking truck over more, more shame on salesman for not pointing out all the features besides the radio…

Another question for the short bed people with the 3.73 gears. What rear end is actually under them, the 8.8 or the 9.75's? I know the long beds with the hdpp get the 9.75 from what I read but can't find a definitive answer so I was wondering if anyone has actually just looked under there yet?

Really just a curiosity thing, Either one does the same thing--- makes the wheels go round and round. (forget the rest of the song)

Gotta love greed! Was perusing the internet in my too much free time and I found a couple of single cabs on a lot with similar but not the same options as mine.

I don't know why they even bother showing the window sticker, is it just to embarrass themselves?

MSRP was $48,550. This particular dealer had a retail price on it of $50,340. Then they graciously took a $1000 off from that. called it their (insert name) difference. Then fords retail bonus cash of $500. Which made it their final price of $48,840. So they were only $290 over sticker. What a bargain. Of course most places probably would have only charged the sticker price minus the ford $500. But let's hear it for, (insert your own idea here)

I didn't realize single cabs were so popular that they had that much mark up. When it comes time to trade I'll bet they won't give me anything for my unicorn single cab. Or at least that place I was looking at wouldn't.

There's something to be said about ordering a 22 from Granger.
