Hey everyone,

2021 F-150, SCREW, 4WD. My sway bar stabilizer links have gone bad. Looking at putting aftermarket ones on since the motorcraft ones didn't last.

No evidence to this but I personally feel Moog and their quality has dropped over the years. Has anyone had to replace theirs yet? Ford wants $82 for 1 sway bar link . If you had to swap them out did you go aftermarket or stick with motorcraft?

Just curious, how many miles on your truck?

TIA

I'm thinking of upgrading stock front sway bar's polyurethane bushings and end links as well but can't find them.

Had one tear and replaced it with OEM. You can find the parts cheaper from online ford dealers.

The $50 and 5 minutes it takes to replace it are more valuable to me than leaving it at the dealership for a day.
So do I go with the Motorcraft and change only the side that’s clunking? Or go with the premium ones on each side?

It’s your call
Personally, I would change both with the Motorcraft links

FK rod end Heims/uniball ends, some solid stock cut to the correct length, and threaded on the ends to attach the rod ends. zero binding. zero noise (if you dont buy cheap china ones)

something similar to this, but this is for their long travel kits, dont use this on your stock trucks. Sway Bar Kit - F-150 – Dirt King

i wonder if that spacewhite guy who does those slick behind the bumper light mounts would wanna do a run of sway bar end links. for you leveled guys with more travel via icon/fox/bilstein it could be beneficial as well.

poly is great but it squeaks alot.

Dont use factory, theyre trash. I used moogs which might be trash to but at least they were cheaper than OEM Ford. I replaced both. My truck has 6k miles on it and found a broken end link this week. Theyre literally held together with riveted plastic. Mines under warranty to but it was easiar to spend $60 and replace both real quick than deal with trips to the dealer and waiting for them to do a 5 minute per side job.

Spoke to Dirt King's tech support and answer is a NO on sway bar end link to work with 2021 and up F150.

How does that happen? I’m pretty sure I killed mine with an impact wrench. I didn’t know you’re not supposed to do that until after it was too late.
