I would expect to lose 3mpg minimum

I don’t even think I lost 1mpgI would expect to lose 3mpg minimum
I’ve never seen a pd added to a current 5.0 or gm 6.2 that didn’t lose at least 3mpg in a car or truck.I don’t even think I lost 1mpg
I think it might be that the truck mileage already sucks so it’s not doing too much. I’ve had 9 different supercharged setups in LS, Hemi and Coyote and your right most lose 3 or more (my GT350 lost 10 lol) so I’m definitely not complaining about the mileage. The custom tune I just got Friday is a little concerning to me but I’m working that out.I’ve never seen a pd added to a current 5.0 or gm 6.2 that didn’t lose at least 3mpg in a car or truck.
So not sure what’s going on there but I wouldn’t complain lol
Is it realistic to do on a daily driver that I put lots of miles on, mostly highway? Some offroad, very little city.I think it might be that the truck mileage already sucks so it’s not doing too much. That is more a personal preference, I think. I have mine installed on my daily driver (25k miles a year), but my previous ones were not. It doesn't affect mileage enough for me to have a separate vehicle just to mod and sit in the garage. It says in the manual that the supercharger oil needs to be changed at 100k miles which could take a long time (remove the blower) but is the only thing I think that would require a lot of work. Plugs every 20k kind of sucks and using 5w50 full synthetic now so that's a little pricier. Is it realistic to do on a daily driver that I put lots of miles on, mostly highway? I was not aware about the frequent plug changes. That's a turn off. That is more a personal preference, I think. You think they would come up with a drain/fill kit to install on the blower so you wouldn't have to remove it (kinda like the bleed kit for the corvette slave cylinder)
Yea its going to suck for me as I do 3k miles a month at least.I was not aware about the frequent plug changes. That's a turn off.
I've still been thinking about going with a Roush but this alone may be the nail in the coffin. I'd be changing plugs every 2-3 months with an oil change, no thanks!Yea its going to suck for me as I do 3k miles a month at least.
Plus our plugs are like 120-140 a set through Ford performance. I had my parts counter start carrying them so I could just go in and buy them.
