I have another thread going on in regards to my 23 power boost, stalling while in motion.

Though I want to keep everyone abreast of the situation, and I figured the general thread was where it needs to be. Especially since my PowerBoost is a Safety Nightmare.

After the dealer could not “replicate the issue “ They had it for a week and put an average of 200 miles on the truck. Even though multiple DTC codes were stored in the computer and I was able to pull those through forscan. They still could not figure out the issue and resolve it.

I’m waiting for a callback for two weeks from a Ford supervisor, in regards to my case.

Tomorrow is supposedly the callback day though I am trying to see what can be done as the fact remains that the vehicles unsafe to drive.

Today the stall happened again to me while doing 75 miles an hour with a tractor-trailer behind me, and the truck stalled out. I Am just very lucky that I am able to think quickly and be prepared for this unreliable vehicle to stall, basically whenever it wants.

Also bear in mind that these stalling issues started at 100 miles on the truck. I picked it up with 50.

This is now the 7th time the vehicle stalled current ODO 1090

This is my fifth Ford product and at this point I would never buy another hybrid Ford. And to be honest if Ford doesn’t get me out of this current vehicle, I will never buy another Ford product. Not that they really care right?

This is a massive safety issue.

I don't understand the need for another thread. Work with dealer and Ford on getting it resolved.

Right except that it’s not the level of urgency needed by ford!

Only a new truck will fix it on a safety note as well

You can go to other dealers.
When your problem seems to be so common I would buy a dash cam or GoPro etc and start recording every drive with view of the gauge cluster and road. Can help your dealer recreate the conditions that cause it and give you proof to show them.
For what it's worth communication errors you are seeing tend to be very common on these trucks. I have multiple soft codes for multiple modules on communication at random days. Those won't help a dealer on finding a cause. They are also not an issue unless continuous and it will eventually trigger dash light if it is important. I agree with what was said in your main thread by someone that it could easily be a loose ground somewhere in truck or other loose connection.

Oh I have a video all it shows is a red battery icon then the tach drops to 0 and says full accessory mode. Dealer said “did you turn the truck off” like are you for real? It’s beyond frustrating how these trucks store everything and a dealer can’t resolve it.

Check both 12v battery connections yourself and keep on the dealer until they fix it.

I have been, though I can’t be without a truck in paying for either. So if they don’t have a loaner and I’m out a vehicle a week there in lies another issue.
They are saying “what do you want us to do since we can’t replicate” I said well I don’t need someone drive my truck for a month long journey. Again DTC codes are stored in the BCM and ECM.

Since the stalling is persistent perhaps set up cameras and a logging device to capture the event. Might help you get out of it ??‍♂. Good luck and hopefully the vehicle won’t be sold to another unsuspecting person.

Here we go just F**** stopped in the middle of the road stated PRO POWER FAILURE.

Couldnt restart pulled PCM connections waited 15 minutes to get it to restart.

This thing is a DEATH TRAP!

Looks like your PCM is on the fritz. Nothing reported from any of the other systems of note outside of PCM disappearing. File a report with NHTSA. While some of those modules are on the FD1, the TRM is on HS3 bus so points more towards bad PCM or a connection to it.
