What’s up everyone, just got my 23 xlt power boost, last week while in motion at highway speeds the truck alerted.
“Drivetrain malfunction all electric” and literally stalled out.
Just today it did it again though at city speeds. Has anyone had similar issue?
What the heck is this all about?

So I dropped off the truck this morning. The dealer was kind enough to actually provide a loaner as per Ford instruction. Received two more Stallings last week with the DTC codes attached. I really hope they can figure this out in replicated because taking truck back is really not an option for me to have it stall again.

really wish I could figure this out.

Dealer has had the truck 5 days. Said a “gateway” module needed an update and they can’t reproduce the error. Needless to say I am letting ford know how is this a resolution? I feel the truck is unsafe to drive especially with my wife and 1 year old in the car. Input from the forum?

Hey man, no issue looking for easy stuff on your own. At 1,000 miles I was burning out light bulbs left and right. I lost a headlight and a taillight about 2 weeks into ownership. The dealers response when I called was “…..so? change them, it’s not our problem” lol. They don’t care if it’s not major. And you’d have to wait for diagnostics and in many case PAY them to diagnose it.

That was actually a fiasco, the dealer oddly enough didn’t even have the bulbs in stock to sell to me. I had to create an account with FordParts and order them direct from Ford to my house. Drive around with half my lights out for over a week while I waited. Then broke a clip on the rear trying to replace. Then had to order that from Ford again. LOL. I tried every parts store before caving to order from FordParts, nobody had the tail bulbs for a 2021+ yet.

This morning’s update, service manager took the vehicle home after I told him to do so. Said that nothing happened to him while driving the truck yesterday or this morning back to work. It’s extremely unsettling to think that they consider that this is a resolved issue. Waiting to hear back from Ford corporate about the situation. Will not be picking up the vehicle as once you do it closes the Ford corporate case. Very frustrating. I am so far happy with the level of customer service that Ford has provided. Dealership however, not impressed.

Not to mention what a huge safety issue. This is the fact that the vehicle is stolen while in motion at highway speeds really any speed. Can you imagine driving 70 or 80 miles an hour the truck stalling out while you and your family are in the vehicle and a tractor-trailer Ranju. I’d spare the details of how that would end.

Just stalled out again 200 miles after “service” looked at it. Beyond out of control on safety.
