Sport mode vs Tow/haul

I like tow mode for some spirited driving. Sport just hangs the gears too long.

Proof that these "labels" given to different shifting strategies are just that. Labels.

I like that you get that and aren't a slave to the power of suggestion. ?

Or put another way, there's nothing wrong with driving casually but using the strategy Ford decided to label "Sport". In my opinion, driven in Sport at a casual pace represents just about how/when I would shift if the truck had 3 pedals.

To me they seem basically the same.
I agree that they are far more alike than what differentiates them.
I bet if we could see the table values that make up the shifting logic, the tables are very similar.

Anyone’s tow haul mode feel laggy? Sport mode feels fast and responsive. Putting my truck in tow haul feels like it can barely move the truck quickly. It’s very slow and sluggish.
