Anyone notice the truck is confused by different speed limits in one area?

example- driving and speed limit changes to 70 all cars then 100ft after that the “trucks over etc” 60mph sign is posted.

The truck goes to 70 then will quickly switch to the 60 once we get to that sign even though it’s for tractor trailer.

I assumed it was similar to google maps where it auto updated based on information in the cloud. The truck is actually recognizing the postings just not very good at it.

It doesn’t impact our cruise or anything just goofy seeing it flip flop.

I haven't had this problem, but I've seen other people post about it. Might be because our speed limit signs have both passenger vehicle and tractor trailer speeds on the same sign, but I remember paying attention to see which it focused on and it stayed with the normal vehicle speed.

IL likes to do them as separate signs by us. So passenger sign is posted then a few hundred feet later it’s tractor trailer and I think that’s why it’s getting confused.

Wait until you are driving on certain highways/interstates and there is a bridge sign that says max weight is 35 tons, for example, and your truck slows down to 35 in a 60/70 mph zone.

I haven't noticed any problem with it reading speed signs accurately. I actually thought it worked great on a recent round trip between Maryland to Florida on RT 95. I used intelligent adaptive cruise control about 97% of that trip and it was surprisingly accurate.

I played with the intelligent cruise a bit, but the field of view on the cameras is a bit wide for looking for signs. My truck kept picking up the 50MPH frontage road speed limit signs while driving on the 70MPH highway.

I'm having the same problem. The Ford Customer service rep that monitors this site took the details of my concern and reported it a few months ago. Never heard anything from Ford after that.

Same here. There is a spot here in Dallas where my truck picks up 50MPH speed limit sign from the frontage road just coming off the overpass. The highway posted speed limit is 70MPH. Driving this highway daily get is pretty annoying.
