Under the advice of @Snakebitten I've cut the automatic update off. Not that it matters, sine I've never gotten an OTA.
That is not good. I just checked and I have had 9 OTA updates in 18 months. The last was July 2nd. None of these updates have caused any issues. Please keep us posted!
How do you see your history of OTA Updates?

I am definitely going to shut it off. About a month ago I was locked out of my truck for 2 hours in a parking lot. What happened was apparently a previous update changed the time to a 24 hour clock. When it did that it translated my 10 pm to 10 am. So when the clock struck 1.0 am it started the update. If I would of been at a gas pump I wouldn't of been able to move it as it locks you out. Just think of all the situations yhat could of happened. Ford knows where your truck is at all time so if they know your not at your home location before it starts you should get a prompt asking if you want to do the update now. That would be very easy to program. But then they can't do and update with out disabling the truck.
On mobile Ford Pass app go to message center. Whenever you receive an OTA you get a message with info. I never delete mine and they are all still there.
Yeah I check that all the time I actually got the notification about the update 3 hours after I tried to drive. I have updates scheduled for 2200 on Thursday.
The message should give the software version installed and some info on what it addressed, e.g. fixed “pro trailer backup assist issue”.
