Software update over night disabled my 2021 f150

Had an update earlier in the week, tried rolling down the rear windows and they don't work. Driver rear controls don't work, none of the rear door switches work (and this is with the safety switch not engaged). Front windows work just fine. Perplexed

I had the same update early this morning. So far the only issue I've had is my iPhone now constantly loses sync. It was working fine prior to the update. I'm planning a long drive tomorrow. I'll check everything out before I leave.

A software update happened over night. Got in My truck this morning and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Couldn't drive it. Towed the dealership. So upset with Ford every update screws something up

That sucks. But why do you have OTA enabled?

I dont even let my phone or pc update automatically. I have encountered waaaay to many issues blindly accepting updates.

Windows has been around for how long? And still have issues with updates. I update when i know there are zero issues with said update.

Ford is not even done with year 2. Gonna be growing pains.

Best to control when updates are loaded.

Ford is having big issues with their window motors. Ours in the 22 explorer went out and I’ve heard of F150s having the same issue.

I have little faith Ford will respond. I had an issue with brake hold and they refused to
Address it. Then magically after a software update the problem disappeared.

Jesse, I received that same update yesterday (22-PU727-VI-FXB). The first OTA I have gotten since the stuck update was repaired. I do not seem to have any issues as a result of the update.

Most haven’t. It’s a gateway update. I think I’m the OPs case it was a failure to configure. The module reconfigs after the update. I’m betting theirs had a issue during the config. I wanted the vin so I could check the OTA status and if anything happened in fords view

At The computer just has an issue that just happen right after the update. I fo seem to have an issue after every update. The o e thing that always happens is my views is always reset.

You could have the dealer charge the battery. Maybe it is too low after the update.
