Neat! 1,000 lb capacity difference (each) between 35 and 80 psi. Wow.
For the LT295/60R20's that I have, there is actually a 1,625 lb. capacity difference per tire (single tire) between 35 and 80 psi. Having said that, I have no need for the additional capacity beyond the trucks maximum payload and the condition of my back has been less than ideal for at least the past 20 years, so I opted for 42 psi. and called it a day.

I run the factory SLs at 40 psi on the PB -- 36 per the sticker causes too much deflection cornering. The mach-e runs at 42 psi. Running 40 psi on LTs is eating 2-3 MPG and decreases stability.

Decreases "stability"?

Reduced pressure results in a sloshy response and increased tire slip angles. Take the stock tires at stock pressure. The sloppy response is apparent and looking at the tires themselves will show just how much deflection occurs by observing the wear on the tread as its goes up the wall of the tire. LT tires on the 150 are 45 front 55 rear. Vehicle trim and options can change the weight on the front axle so take such into consideration. Those values are for the HDPP trim carrying roughly 500 less pounds on the front axle than a piggyboost (possibly more if 2wd). At stock pressures there was about 1" of the tire's side profile rolling under in cornering (36psi PB) and corner turn in was mediocre.

If weight carrying isn't common, adjust rear pressures based on load.

@HammaMan Do you know what brand of tires the HDPP comes with? I would be interested in seeing their published load ratings at those pressures.

Calson posted his door sticker from a previous gen w/ 45/55 pressures. Here's a 23 w/ HDPP's current offering

I am about to try E rated tires for the first time, but I've always been told that E rated tired will ride noticeably firmer than passenger tires. Unfortunately, they do not make passenger tires in 295/60R20, so I didn't have any options.
How do they ride?
