Today I got my me wheel and tires (295/30/26) installed. Talked to the suspension guy and he said don’t go lower in the front or it will scrub but he says I am 3” higher in the rear. He said if anything he would recommend using the 1.5” shackles so the bed support does not have to be cut and that will allow me to still be able haul things with no problems. What are thoughts?
I'm sorry , but I'm not feeling it Brother!! I have some wild rims on my truck, but you took everything away from me. You are the King of the Road. Enjoy that ride Brother!! I would love to ride in it . Just to see how it rides. I'm running 20" rims on my Tremor! Enjoy

I did get true balance on the tires so they shaved them to ensure the best ride I could get. I have driven it about 60 miles since this morning when I got them installed and so far I am pleased with the ride.
That's all that Matters , What you think and feel .

The ride is absolutely lovely, I did spring for the truing of the tires which helps a lot. I use to have 20” rims on an expedition and without the truing I didnt like the ride but got the truing done and it rode great. So now I always get the shop to do truing even on factory setup. There is only one shop that does it within a 200 mile radius of me though. And I understand you not feeling it, it’s not for everyone. Just like I hate to see a truck lifted, just not for me. But I am thinking maybe doing the shackles on the back just to level it out a little. Won’t really affect the ride just the looks.

I'd be afraid to drive something with so little tire!!
Me toooooo. Rubber band tires are a terrible ride and dangerous. Lose a tire lose the rim, being lowered you also lose some body or undercarriage also. Seen it happen couple of times

Yea , I would go for it. I don't think shackles are going to make much difference If any , in the ride at all. I drive a 24 Tremor 402a . I want to put a 2.5 Puck on the front, but I keep hearing bad things. I'm going to wait awhile . I like the look of your truck and the wheels, just not me. I'm a off road guy. Whats under the hood of your Beast? Looks like a Sleeper!!

Truing is when the shave each tire to ensure it is perfectly round. Brand new tires are not perfectly round from the manufacturer. Most shops don’t do it, they just balance the tire with weights and let it go.

Here is a video

I agree the shackles should not affect the ride. Not a sleeper though, lol, it has the 2.7 which is why I’m not going to do anything with the exhaust. Can’t find one I like the sound of.

I bought a 2016 F 150 FX4 2.7 with 16000 miles , the motor had been Blue Printed by a motor head speed Shop. That truck was Super Quick . They said it was pushing 475 HP, to the wheels. there was paper work with it, but i didn't know what it was saying. I give it to my Step son with 42000 on it. He's still driving it. 2.7 Can be Quick. I only ran it a few times, no one could keep up.

I love mine. I just can’t find an exhaust that I like. I use to have a 2003 Chevy SS with the 6.0 and had a bunch of mother work done to it and it was fast so it’s hard to replace that set up.
