I don’t think most of the PowerBoosters will be interested in the Super Duty version, it’s very likely to be a large cubic inch naturally aspirated V8 hooked up with a tractive motor. While that is attractive to me as a 5.0/V8 lover, I think most of the turbo lovers will be uninterested in the Super Duty Hybrid. It’s very likely to be geared to the V8 crowd imo.
Negative Ghost Rider. I dreamed of a Godzilla PB in an earlier thread!
Had Ford used the 5.0 instead of the 3.5 to create the PB I would have researched and possibly purchased that instead.

Powerboost'rs didn't choose the Powerboost because the ICE is the 3.5 Ecoboost. Ford made that decision for us.
If it had been built on the Coyote, then I would have an F150 KingRanch Powerboost Coyote.
Same if it had been a 2.7

The Godzilla as a Powerboost would absolutely be appealing to many/most(?) current Powerboost'rs. But I'd predict that they would also desire additional electric torque and HV battery size.

The 2.7 EB has about the same EPA mileage rating as the PB. The PB is a $3560 option and available only on XLT and above and only available in 4x4.

The 2.7 EB's on the lots around here have a 6425# or 6850# GVWR.

My 2023 PB Crew, 5.5 bed has a 1587# CCC and a 7350# GVWR.
When I bought in May, there was a discount on the PBs that basically made them free. I'm in about 3 months and 4,500 miles and 700 miles towing. I still have a lot to learn but love the truck so far.

This is where the PB does not get the most benefit from this system. This is my scenario.

Short trips with lots of starts and stops on a highway. Gas it up to highway speed then hit the brakes to stop at the next light. Rinse and repeat. Even with that I get 18 - 19 mpg and I am no grandma with the gas pedal. My old 2009 Tacoma got about 17 mpg with half the truck and half the power.
I came from 2 Frontiers before the PB and it would only get 15-17 if lucky (2008, 2019 :( Only upgraded because the little Nissan had issues with my 5-6k lbs Minilite. People magically expect to get 25-30 without thinking. I have never seen a group of drivers be so whiny about not getting sticker mpgs. They lift their trucks, put 37" on, and drive 75+ and ask why they are not getting 25+ :)

Yep, I’m going to agree here as well: As a current PB owner, I don’t much care what they mate the hybrid system too as long as it has gobs of torque for towing and at least moderately increased mileage/ PPOB utility.

What?? I just received my 2024 Powerboost about 3 weeks ago. It is a $1960 option and comes with a $1960 rebate. It’s a free option. My 24 Powerboost was purchased by trading in my 21 Powerboost with 64,000 miles and never in the shop for anything but oil changes and a windshield wiper recall.

I’m considering replacing my 21 KR with a 24 KR as well. Do you notice any driving improvement on the 24?
I traded my 21 King Ranch PB for a 24 KR PB. Actually, there are a few inconsequential changes, most of which I prefer my 21.

The PB option on my 23 was $4495 with a $1900 discount. No idea if there was a discount on a 24.

It's changed over the years as they incorporated more features. PB had a premium because it came with "base features" that were upcharges on other engine trims. It'd been more apparent had they line itemed the features it includes.
