A few hand tools, a couple hours, music to annoy the neighbors and 3 or 4 beers later and you should be g2g.
Haha i did just that when i had to adjust the brake pedal on it. Seriously don't know what the previous owner was thinking or what his shape was lol but he adjusted the brake pedal as far back as it could go and added an extra nut to hold it there. When i would brake i had to go all the way to the floor it was driving me crazy

With all the oddities might consider taking it to an independent mechanic worth his salt to give it a real good once-over to see if there's anything else that's been fiddled with. Probably cost you an hour's shop time but well worth it on a used vehicle. No fun finding previous owner Easter Eggs after the certified pre-owned warranty expires. lol

Very true. i do have a mechanic near me that would be great for that. I'll definitely look into it

Seeing that pic of the underside showing the springs reminds me of a repair I just did last week on our lounge at home..

We are about to buy a new house and the war office didn't want to buy a new lounge to replace the sagging one (in case the layout was wrong) in the meantime until we move, so being the resourceful type I opened it up and added a couple of zip ties to firm it up... sorted it. Good as new...

Here is the vid I followed....

If you don't find a broken item and it's the springs sagged, then give this a try... It worked for me...

I've been looking at my seat, its not broken, I believe its the design of the seat. The bolster foam is much much taller than the center foam. Or conversely there is not enough center foam. The center also sinks on the spring while the bolster does not give as it sits on the frame. Again, I became aware of this issue around the 3000 mile range. It's a pain in the A$$.

Seats in my 2014 FX2 were more comfortable than the seats in my 2023 Platinum.

That makes sense. Mine has 30,000 miles and is actually causing sciatic never issues according to my doctor which is crazy to think about. I have an appointment tuesday with an auto upholstery place near me to look at it, said they can add foam where i want or even a stronger spring in the middle
