Screen Selections keep changing

Has anyone had any issues with selected screens being changed from selected to not selected? I’m having an issue with Trip 2 specifically. I’ll select it and it will be displayed for a few days, then randomly it will become de-selected and go away. I know it’s minor, and kinda petty but it annoys the hell out of me for some reason!

yes that happens to me all the time, car play goes from split screen to full screen , my view does not remember what it was last on, trip 1 ... will change to random things and the gauges will reset ...

Mine does the same thing. Sync 3 was excellent once the APIM was replaced. Sync 4 is buggy as hell! When parked in the garage there’s a constant popping noise coming from the speakers that Ford has yet to be able to fix. In addition, the configurable screen resets almost daily and I lose all my selections. Last week mine was at the dealer for the “popping“ noise and they gave me a brand new 2024 STX as a loaner. The screen in it reset EVERYTIME I started it.

I too have the popping sound when parked until the residual power goes off. Mine started after I did a DSP (think that’s what it was)update on FDRS. Had I known I wouldn’t have done the update but usually updates improve things.

The update in April/May-ish 2024 is when mine started. Dealer reset something 2 weeks ago and said that it’s fixed. They were wrong.

mine used to stay on last screen
now each start over the last week or so it reverts to the MY VIEW line for 1st screen views
i have no idea why?
i 1st thought it was doing it if i selected a drive mode other than normal

i figured its something that was changed, and i stopped looking at and just scrolled down one to show the driver assistance screen in the my view

before it was my clue a download had happened or tried.
i have also noted since saturady, NORMAL drive mode is default at each start, no matter if it was in sport or eco prior to shutting off truck.

At least y’all’s stays or comes on frequently… Seems like every-other-day mine doesn’t turn on at startup or freezes and I need to do a manual reset.

Used to be the screen always went back to last screen it was on. Now everytime I start the truck it always defaults to the split screen with maps. I always have hit the audio button to get full screen. The last update did this but it also made my transmission perfect so I will live with it.

Mine does this. It also freezes, stays black, mode selects don't work and then work. It's all pretty glitchy honestly

I can't believe how buggy it is. Mine does odd stuff all the time. Views reset, carplay bugs or it crashes, loses connectivity to my phone and can't get it back, random "F150 saved" messages. Pretty disappointed honestly.

The drivetrain of this truck is hands down awesome. The software side, not so much.
