Just noticed this for the first time today while I was cleaning my truck. I tried to clean the screen hoping that would get rid of it but it seems to possibly be permanent. You can only see it when the screen is off and sun or light is shining on it. Anyone have/had this issue?

Yeah I’m the only owner.
I just got it back from the dealership yesterday. They had it for 3 weeks replacing something on the transmission. I don’t see how they could have done it but I’ve just never noticed it and I keep really good care of my truck. It’s like the circles on the screen are the only part that doesn’t have fine scratches which doesn’t make sense.

I did the same with mine but I did not notice the fine scratches. Screen saver is a must :)
Would you mind giving me the link?

Appreciate it. I hope it hides the issue. I can’t unsee it now.

I noticed mine was starting to show some fine scratches when the sun hit it too, so I put a Spigen screen protector on it. It hid the marks, and has been very durable.
Definitely the Spigen matte screen protector. Mine is used and had two small spots previous owner must have splashed something on the screen and was horrible in the sunlight. With the screen protector you can't even see it.

I’m out of the 36k warranty and am now on my extended. Not sure if it would cover it or not.

cosmetic bits are normally only covered for three year 36K

unless you can prove some kind of screen defect, but it’s probably not gonna be covered

Yeah, I installed a screen saver the first month I had my truck, and I've never given it a second thought. I got the one from ICDplug, because it was the only one that I was aware of at the time.
