Screen issues on 12 inch screen

Today, I turned my truck on and the main screen is not working properly. It is all now just a single pane instead of split screen, the bottom ribbon is tone on tone so can't easily be read, dark mode has the tone on tone everywhere, the scale of the images is wrong on SiriusXM, it no longer shows temperature or time, etc. You can see the bottom ribbon is pretty much unreadable. However, I know it's not a screen problem because the album covers look right, car play colors are OK, the backup camera coloring is fine, etc. I have included a few pictures of what I am seeing. I did a master reset to no avail. You can see from the attached pictures that the menus are not right. Any ideas?

Quick update on it. I called Ford support and we did master reset again, etc. Still not working. They did say that my truck tried to do an OTA update last night but failed. It was working fine yesterday and not working today so maybe that is the culprit. I asked if I could force the update and they said that I just had to wait up to a week for it to try again, or they recommended I go to the dealership to force it. I really don't want to go to the dealership again, but I may not have a choice.

When I have had failed updates I was able to go to the update and select "Update Now" and it would retry. Only after it has failed for a week or so does it disappear for awhile.

I just had this exact same issue happen to me. Did you get a resolution on this. I have a dealer appointment next week, but would still Ike to know what the issue is so I can possibly let them know.

I may be wrong but I bet you had the same thing that happened to me. Ford pushed an old OTA to my truck (which was up to date) which overwrote the APIM with an old version. Mine looked exactly like yours and acted the same way (Carplay/Backup Cam). @Jesse-Infotainment was able to get me an updated APIM set of files, installed like I normally would and everything is back to normal. See below what my Sync looked like.

It loaded the wrong set of files. It loaded the 8" nresolution. I can send you an update to load onto a USB and it will fix it. If you want to deal with the dealer you can do that also. The USB fix is easy

Good grief, just when it looked like Ford had got their OTA's working well.

and to repeat what Jesse said, the USB update is super easy. Highly suggest going that route!

Good grief, just when it looked like Ford had got their OTA's working well.
Yeah its been an ongoing disaster.. really crazy how somethign like this can be so badly executed by such a large company.

They probably do know how big of an issue this is, but I would bet the pink slip on my truck that they will never acknowledge it. Look at the BC debacle and their "communication".

Not a fan of OTA updates. Didn't have any at all for the first 6-7 month of ownership, till the first one arrived and it was the Trailer tow module update (forgot the TSB number) which caused the alarm going off whenever a trailer was connected. So, after the OTA update was completed, the message of a successful update showed. Dealer later on while i was there for another issue, checked and installed that same update, again. Which means the OTA update didn't install successfully after all....
