Screen flicker - Sync 4 12 inch screen

Hi all,
I just bought a used ‘21 F150 XLT. The very bottom of the screen is flickering. The dealer had it for 3 days last week, and said they fixed it by reprogramming the truck. I picked it up and it was flickering again before I got home.
The dealer says they’ve never seen anything like it. Has anybody else had this issue?

That's a hardware issue for sure, no amount or reprogramming is going to fix that. Either the graphics driver on the APIM is bad, the cable between it and screen, or the screen itself is bad.

Interesting. The flicker moves with the audio dB level much as you see with a graphic equalizer

I hadn’t noticed about the audio dB. I’ll investigate that further.

I might have to become a real squeaky wheel with my dealer before warranty is up.

Dealer has had the truck for a week. They just received “parts” and I will hopefully get it back tomorrow.
The service advisor mentioned a new screen. Hopeful the issue is fixed soon!

Update: picked it up today. I wasn’t able to talk to the service advisor but the ticket says a new screen was installed.
Screen flicker is fixed! Truck was completely reset so it’s like brand new.
