Running board reset

I did a DSM module update that was showing on my list of updates . I did the update but now my power running boards are acting strangely ( motor keeps running with boards deployed) . When I did the door modules I ran the window reset for the auto up/ down. Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a similar reset or learn function for the running boards in FDRS. I did a module check with forscan and everything “passed” . There’s also the DSP update that now makes my speakers pop with the truck off but I don’t care about that right now.

Glad I found this, I just ran the gauntlet of FDRS updates on my 21 PB, including the DSM update.

Now my RH running board is acting odd as well. Seem to keep running and makes a long whine after retraction. Oddly enough, you only hear it doing this when auto retraction occurs from reaching speed, never heard it using the kick button.

Something is amiss with the update or there's another action needed?

Edit: I've also been on the hunt for a reset, relearn or calibration for the running boards. Nothing yet.

Same issue here. Seems to only happen when the truck has been remote started though.

I ended up replacing my DSM with an "outdated" firmware on it, so far so good.

Just got this issue fixed today thanks to rugedraw! shoot him a message and he can walk you through the fix via forscan!
