I have a 24 PB 3.5L and its brand new, 8,000 miles on it. Ever since I bought it its always had some rough shifting. At first I thought it was normal, but when I went to the dealer and test drove other Powerboosts, im now convinced its not. Brought it to the shop before for the issue and shops say its "normal."

Does anyone else have the same experience? Once its past gear 5 its smooth. But 2-4 really is where i get the jerky shifting.

How many miles were on it when you bought it? If mote than 150-200 then definitely might try to reset the adaptive shift tables with Forscan and drive it around in sport mode for about 150 miles during the relearn period to see if that helps afterwards. Also might have the dealer check the fluid level. Both my 2020 Ranger and 2022 PB were under filled form the factory.

It’s not normal
I would suspect you are probably low on fluid
It’s actually happened to quite a few people with brand new trucks. Not only Ford but quite a few 23 and 24 Toyota Tacoma’s were anywhere from half a quart to 3 quarts low.
