I'm told Ford made a significant update to the 1080R in mid '22 that made them much better. I don't know much about this, but I believe something was rotating or slipping in them. Interestingly, I also believe GM found it earlier than Ford, fixed it earlier than Ford, and didn't say anything to Ford.

sigh....

Good morning. Would you please send over a private message with your VIN and dealer info so I can look into your gear shift concern on my end?
My 2021 F-150 XLT PB does this as well. I can replicate the issue at will as I've posted in the thread
"Loss of acceleration. Mine is a2021 poweboost and it happens mostly in turns." I have talked to my dealer about it, but they've been non-committal.

Well, new transmission didn’t fix my issue. They still have the truck and are reaching out to Ford for some guidance. Will update more info when I receive it.

Damnit, sorry to hear that.

My truck does this exact thing, and now that I've paid more attention to it, it really seems more like a tuning related issue to me. Perhaps some torque value is being exceeded and the PCM is partially closing the throttle, or boost pressure is being bled off momentarily. I hope they figure it out for you

Ya, who knows. I’m not trying to give them any ideas on what it could be. Hopefully they’ll throw some more new parts at it until it gets resolved. Lol!

Just curious if you had any updates from the dealership on this ongoing issue?

Ya sorry, I got my truck back on Friday the 21st. It has a new transmission but it didn’t fix the issue. They wanted me to drive it for 500 miles and see if the adaptive learning would help the situation. I’ll be taking it back in after the 500.
That’s all I got so far.

Hey man, Just thought I'd check in and see if anything changed with your new transmission, or if the dealership decided to throw more parts at the problem. Im taking mine in on Monday for the same thing, and the 24E04 recall

I haven’t taken it back in yet. New transmission is ok and it didn’t fix what I wanted. Sometime in the future I’m going to take it to a different dealer and see what they say.

No Sir. Dealership said they couldn't duplicate the issue, and that there was no fault codes stored for the TCM, so basically they just throw their hands in the air. Im just going to drive it until it blows up I guess
