Gonna go with the Diode Dynamics hitch mount kit. I like that it's got the running light and the brake light feature in it as well as the reverse light. It looks like there's a kit specifically for the 21-23 F-150, but it's on backorder. :/ @Diode Dynamics any ideas?

So you have to take the light out every time you use the hitch?

Yes, that's correct! It's incredibly simple to unplug and remove the HitchMount to install a hitch. When you're not using the hitch, you can easily pop the C1 or C1R HitchMount back into place.

the hitch pod is a pretty slick product. i actually used one on my Dad's Raptor and swapped an amber lens onto it to use as a chase light when he attends raptor runs.

So you have to take the light out every time you use the hitch?

Yes, but it's just a simple plug in connector to pop it out. I don't tow very often, so it's not a big deal at all.

They only offer it up to a 2023. I purchased the light thinking it would work on my 2024 Lariat but it doesn’t.
It would throw all kinds of trailer warnings that the trailer battery is not connected, blind spot warning deactivated etc….

You’re correct, my apologies. I thought that said 2024.
