Yeah I had a feeling about that. Since the dealer just updated some of it was really just curious where it's at now before I start.

Oh, you're going to need a lot more time than that. To get the truck out of Sync 20301, you will need FDRS to create a USB update for the APIM that you will have to insert into the truck and leave it there for 2-6 weeks until it decides to kick off and update. Then and only then will you be able to update the APIM, GWM, TCU and IPC many times over and over until all your Sync related modules are up to date.
You will be able to update the other ancillary modules, but to update Sync and get auto updates to turn on and connectivity working, it requires a process that you have no control over in terms of how long it will take for the truck to accept the USB update.

Were you ever able to look up again? Since pulling battery terminals and charging battery I've just gotten phantom update messages. TCU should say US now as well.

I don't know much about this but it seems like replacing the apim would almost be easier at that point

As long as you get one that's the correct part number and have FDRS to program it to your truck, that is also an option. New APIMs aren't cheap, though. Buying a used one on ebay can be tricky because for all you know, it may have the same bad software yours has.

The new IPMA update is not being released by Ford for Tremor or Raptor trim trucks. It is unknown if they will release it one day or not, but I can tell you for sure that it is not available through FDRS or OTA at this time.

Hi there! Can anyone help me out and check my Vin? I removed from the fordpass app and now I'm having TCU problems. Currently unplugged the TCU and waiting to try again later but if someone can tell me if my truck is up to date, that would be great. Never seen an update notification myself.

No to forscan, yes to code reader. I will use it when I get home but I went into the screen and got into the debug pages. In those pages it had a TCM and other module trouble code but when selecting to see, there were none. I have one of those aftermarket code readers that can read all the vehicle computers but I have yet to try it on my truck since it is a couple years old now.
