I worded that poorly, this is what I mean, is there a way to update Ford's records for my VIN. I'm not gonna hold my breath but thought I'd ask.

Is there any way for the VIN to be updated to not show as Canadian? or is that pretty much set in stone at sale?

Were you ever able to look up again? Since pulling battery terminals and charging battery I've just gotten phantom update messages. TCU should say US now as well.

When I go to the update screen it seems to refresh, then just shows my automatic update toggle/schedule and a grayed out 'update now' button, haven't seen the pending update icon pop up yet.

Well, updated TCU and pulled the battery for 30 minutes, lets see if my luck changes.

TCU: 754-10-01? I'll try updating it to US and pull the battery for 20 to see if that changes anything, don't have very good cell service at my house either

Could someone look my VIN up? Also no updates since June 2024.. Truck was delivered from the factory to Canada, re-imported to the US a few years ago, not sure if that matters for the talk of being banned for looking up non-US VINs VIN: 1FTFW1E81MFA18104
