It doesn't show in Fordpass. He got lucky, really. BC is enabled for him where it counts. He just need to fix the config in the IPMA for it to actually work.Does Connected Services populate at all?
My BlueCruise has always just kept working eventhough the trial subscription expired a long time ago.It doesn't show in Fordpass. He got lucky, really. BC is enabled for him where it counts. He just need to fix the config in the IPMA for it to actually work.
@Seanrblock I messaged you on FB in regards to what you need to do for BC 1.4. If you need something in the future, just ask us here. FB is not the best source for this kind of stuff.
The FDRS guys will be along to help soon. In the mean time get a 10 mm wrench and disconnect the negative cable from the battery. Leave it off about 10 minutes. That is the best help you can give your truck in several situations, but especially if it is new to you and something seems to be stuck. Buy and keep that extra 10 mm wrench in the truck. It won't be the last time you need it.This is my first post as I am a new member here. I recently bought my truck used and do not know much history on it. I see a lot of very valuable information. Anyways I was wondering if somebody could check my vin for the OTA updates. When I click software update it shows there is an update for powerup 6.30, however the truck will not download it. There is an icon with grey exclamation point next to it. If anybody can look into this it would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. We aren't really doing public VIN checks anymore (at least I'm not), so please remove the VIN from your post. This is my first post as I am a new member here. Thank you for checking on that for me. Looks like I’ll be going the fdrs route. I’m having some issues with phone calls dropping out on CarPlay as well as the ac recirc actuator and I don’t want to replace the actuator until everything is up to date.Welcome to the forum. The notice you are seeing there about 6.3.0 is due to the fact that was the last OTA that was sent to that truck. OTA history is only kept for 60 days at a time, so I don't know when that was sent to your truck, but it was over 60 days ago. Modules with pending updates are below. As per the notes at the bottom, the APIM once installed will release more updates for the other modules listed below. Considering the truck is a 2021, it could be worse. Connectivity seems to be working fine and the truck is not reporting any codes of concern. Truck seems fine, but the OTA process is slow and unpredictable. No way of knowing when the next update will be sent and no way to speed up the OTA process.

Updating the APIM to the latest version will help with phone connectivity. Updating the vehicle will do nothing as far as the a/c actuator goes. Your truck is reporting this active code citing mechanical failure, so you whether you replace it before or after really does not really matter.Thank you for checking on that for me. Replacing the damper actuator may not be necessary to resolve the mechanical failure DTC. I had the same problem and fixed it by running a self test (FORScan or FDRS will work) on the HVAC module, which varies the fan speed and cycles the damper motors. Then I cleared the code. It’s been months since I did it and the DTC hasn’t come back.Thank you for checking on that for me. Looks like I’ll be going the fdrs route. I’ll give this a try, I have forscan.Replacing the damper actuator may not be necessary to resolve the mechanical failure DTC. Did anyone run a self-test before coming to that conclusion? I was told the same thing. My truck had to have the actuator motor replaced with the mechanical failure code.
I had run the self test in the past after updating the HVAC module but it started throwing the code randomly still afterwards.Did anyone run a self-test before coming to that conclusion? I was told the same thing.
