Probably should just have the admins lock this thread unfortunately if that's the case since no one can follow that ask seems like. Or if there can be some type of message or popup before you post on this thread there should be no VINs posted publicly on here anymore, but that might be a tall order. Or even just rename the title of the thread to say that right off the bat. Sucks to see it come to this but that's the game I guess.
No wonder their software is slacking when engineering teams are busy with these non sense projects.
is this because you work for a dealer ship and they feel you are creating more warranty work? just really don't understand how they can control this if your a paying customer..
I would like to keep the thread open so people know it exists. I will just ignore the public VIN check requests.
Well shoot, majority of people that ask to check usually end up buying a license to get it updated themselves, so they are already getting their money there lol. If they were smart they would allow everyone to check for free then say hey, go to the dealer and pay them $$ to update it for you or give us $ and you can do it yourself.

I just updated my truck and took me 10 hours. I had 22 modules to update and I got 21 of 22 updated and with the help from Rugedraw and others I now have BC 1.4 and all my modules are now updated except the BCM. Good luck and get a 20 amp battery charger with 12v power supply.

That will give you the correct config for BC to be able to work.
The other issue you have is that BC is not showing as an option in your connected services. I don't think correcting the config in the IPMA will make it show up here. For that, you may have to contact the Fordpass team to see if they can send you an activation signal or something.
