Grateful if someone can check on pending updates for my VIN (removed now) - I am hopeful of a TCU update since I am having some weird issues on my modem. Last I looked, for some reason on PTS it shows a pending TCU update but FDRS has nothing for TCU. Appreciate your help folks.

Good afternoon! New member, I recently picked up a 22 Powerboost. VIN ()
I was looking at OTA updates, doesn't show any from the Sync screen but with it having sat at a dealer I wanted to trust but verify. It's giving me the reset "My view" and I've disconnected both the under hood and under rear seat batteries for an extended time before plugging back in, still has the issue. I'm betting I'll either need to charge them or replace. But thanks in advance for any help on the OTA updates!

Truck is on the latest Sync version and latest software for the ADAS modules. It's showing some ancillary module updates, but most of the major ones are done. The my view resetting is a known issue. Happens to everyone including me. Ford has to fix that.

Good afternoon! New member, I recently picked up a 24 Powerboost. VIN (). The truck was bought new but has been a dealer loaner since August. It took me a month to get it unlocked from the fleet and it has never been updated. Can you please help me look at the history and if I need to take it to a dealer to receive an OTA

Modules with pending updates are below. Connectivity seems to be working fine. If all your Fordpass functions work, you should be good to go. Ford does pay dealers to update modules just because they aren't up to date. Eventually, an OTA will come in for one of these. There is nothing you can do to speed up the OTA process.

PTS still shows the TCU. Remind me tonight to check FDRS.

Truck is on Sync 23159 which is pretty old at this point. You have an APIM update showing along with many others which is good, but no way of knowing when the next one will be sent. Truck is talking to the cloud just fine though.

This truck is also on Sync 23159 like above and showing the GWM update pending needed to get further on the process, but has less of the other non-Sync updates pending. Truck is also talking to the cloud just fine.

No open campaigns or recalls. Truck is on the latest Sync software and ADAS modules are up to date. Modem is not online now for me to see for any codes it may be reporting. Pending updates below, but most of the major ones are already installed.

I have been trying to get trailer side view to work for about two years now. I have a 2021 Powerboost XLT 302A. Trailer Side View is grayed out on my screen. I have used forscan to stop the double honk and get rid of full view not available.
I have written the code for the trailer side view, it writes successfully. But when I start the car again it goes back to the original configuration. In other words erases what I did.

So it would be great ti have someone run my vin to see if I have the appropriate update to the IPMA so I can do this.



I really need this fiction for safety when towing my Airstream.

Your IPMA is on a very old version that does not support it. IPMA needs to be updated for it to work.

Thank you rugedraw, now I have to try and convince the dealer to do the update. Let's see how that goes. I believe they should have done it when I had the truck serviced there.

Not really. Ford does not pay dealers to update modules just because they are not up to date. There has to be a recall or a problem that an update will fix for them to be able to bill Ford for the labor.

New to me '22 - planning to do the Mongoose loaner cable thing and the other day all my custom settings in Sync reset. I wonder if the truck got some updates finally. Can I get a VIN check and see if its still oudated and worth doing the mongoose loaner to get BC1.4 going? VIN *** (will be removed when replied)

Truck is on the latest Sync version and pending updates are below. The myview resetting is a known issue and doing these updates won't help....Ford has to fix that. With the IPMA/PSCM updates you see below, you would be able to enable BC 1.4.
