2022's were already built with the older software 2021's were missing. That said, your truck has gotten updates through 4.2.4, so you are almost fully up to date with the exception of an update that came out within the past few days. You're good to go.

You have had a DSP update sent to you recently that continues to fail. By any chance, does your truck have an aftermarket sound system?

Thanks! It does not.. has the B&O Unleashed. Is this an over the air update or something a dealer needs to do? Also, Is there a way to check for TSB's that were done?

It is an OTA, but it failed on your truck the first time it was sent. The update is still in your queue now from the second time it was sent to your truck. What happens when you go to your touchscreen and check for updates? The dealer can apply it, yes, but you would need a valid complaint for them to do it, because otherwise, Ford will not pay them. I did this update myself last Sunday, and it took 3 minutes, but good luck convincing a dealer of that.

OASIS report for your truck is attached. No open campaigns at this time.

You can't update it yourself without the proper tool and an FDRS license. This DSP update is to prevent the loud popping noise followed by static noise from coming out of the B&O system. It is not imperative that you get this update. Nothing to worry about....your truck is fine.

The definitely did not do 10 hours of updates. There is no need for them to do so since your truck is on Sync 23031 which until yesterday, was the newest Sync version out there. Your truck is not out of date. What I can see they were doing was using FDRS to get your navigation working. It does not appear that they were successful doing so. Post a picture of your "about sync" screen on your touchscreen. Maybe @Jesse-Infotainment can help you out. Whatever is going on with your nav seems to be beyond my scope of knowledge.

Guys, I will be on vacation starting tonight. Any VIN check requests will be delayed. I return the office on Friday 9/8. I will be taking my laptop with me, but I will hardly be on it and the internet connection where I am staying is terrible.

Got time for one more before you do? 1FTFW1E8XMFA27013 I have had nothing since doing the FDRS updates a couple months ago so just curious before I go pay $50 for a new license.

I remember you updated with FDRS not too long ago. There have been a few priority updates released, but not everyone has gotten them. Just a few days ago, a priority update started getting sent out that seems to update the Sync version to 23159 across all three years of the gen 14 trucks. I thought Ford was going to be aggressive rolling that one out, but no one else has reported getting it. In you case, the last recorded OTA was in May, so nothing recent.

Nothing new has come out to warrant giving Ford another $50. I would just wait until there is something worth installing that gives you a new feature of some kind before thinking of manually updating again.

Sounds good and thank you for the information. I want to put my Mongoose in the loan out pool but want to make sure I will not need it for a while first.

I've gone through almost the entire list at this point, and the last few people I have reached out to either don't respond or say they resolved their issue already. I don't think it is necessary at this point.
