Is this the right forum to see when we can get blue cruise?
Dealer is giving me the workaround. I also have the backup pro assist, but no update to use the stickers. Still requires the sensor..

Your truck is not BlueCruise capable. It would have to be a 502a package or up to be able to have it as an option.

Can somebody please look up my truck?

Your truck is fully up to date as far as OTA's go. It seems to have gotten a GWM that I thought was only for 2021 trucks. Please check your Fordpass app notifications. Which software update was the last one it says your truck received? Does it mention 4.3.5?

Thank you for your response. I remember when I bought it, the truck came with assist 2.0 or copilot360 or something. I just assumed that meant the hands free blue cruise feature.
I do have lane centering and adaptive cruise control ,which is nice.

The window sticker would say "FORD CO-PILOT360 ACTV2.0 PREP" if it is a job 1 2020 or "FORD CO-PILOT360 ACTV2.0" if it had the Bluecruise activated from factory already.

No, yours says "FORD CO-PILOT 360 ASSIST 2.0" It does not say Active or Active Prep. Again: Bluecruise is not available as an option on a 501a trim Lariat. It would have to be a 502a package for it to have the option to add Bluecruise.

I don't have FDRS to check, but even if you do, dealers do not get paid to update modules unless there is something wrong with the truck that they can bill Ford for under warranty, so you will most likely be met with resistance if you ask them to perform updates.

I guess I am used to the Mach-E, which has been a continuous module update process since I bought it over 2 years ago. Thanks, still adjusting going back to an ICE vehicle.

Your truck shows no recent OTA history and the Sync version appears blank in Ford's system. It seems like a dealer tried to perform module update on it last month. Go to your touchscreen, look for the "about sync" screen and post a picture of what that screen says.

The paperwork did say it was in for recall 21G01 a little bit ago. I posted a photo of that as well. Thanks for the help!

They did not perform the IPC or TCU updates. Nor did they run the 21G01 bluecruise configuration program to activate it. I see the failed APIM update and the one that went through, but they did not do everything they were supposed to do.

Yes, but you need a Mongoose cable and a license to access FDRS. Look up the threads stickied in this section for my community mongoose thread and get on the list to borrow one of mine if you don't want to spend the money needed to have your own.

Is that going to be easier then taking it back to a dealer and trying to have them update it?

In your case, you can try the dealership route again. You're on Sync 22146 which is past the older broken software that was difficult to get the truck out of. However, they screwed you by saying they did 21G01 because now your VIN doesn't have that campaign open and active anymore. That same dealer needs to properly do what they claim they did.
