Request VIN Lookup Thread

Took mine for a drive today (first time in a few days) and mine finally updated.

After ~2 weeks of it being in my queue, the update finally installed yesterday afternoon/evening. The only thing I can think of that may have triggered it was I made a few Forscan changes yesterday to enable Hill Decent Control & Rock Crawl mode. I do know that Securalert disappeared before I got the update as I saw that gone earlier in the week.

I am by no means an expert so please take this with a grain of salt. I just finished mine yesterday and had some time left on my 2 day license and wanted to pay-it-forward by passing info on to others.

Basically the modules listed on the right (PCM, ABS, HCM, BCM, GWM, APIM (SYNC), and WACM) are the ones that have updates available.

If doing them yourself there are a couple that need to be done in a specific order. I believe the GWM needs to be done prior to the APIM for example. Others with more experience please chime in here as well.

Some of these can (will) take a significant amount of time to load. Just bear that in mind.

Hopefully others can chime in with more specific info.

You will. Your truck is a 2022 and was built with all the older problematic software already. The GWM is 3.5.2, the APIM is 3.5.3 which gives you full-screen carplay/android auto, and once those are done, a TCU update will pop up the is the 3.5.4 OTA.

Hmmm well I might be "stuck" again. I got all the way to 4.2.3 fairly quickly but I can't seem to get 4.2.4 OTA and I've done plenty of driving around Houston. Anyone mind checking PTS to see if it's in the Q?

4.2.4 was sent to you on 5/3 and it failed on 5/5. Error code in PTS says "canceled by cloud". I've seen that before, but not sure what it means or why it happens. It has not been resent to you yet.

I am new to this site and have been reading all the great OTA update/status lookups provided by the dedicated members, fantastic job to all for their helpfulness!

Could someone please have a look at 1FTFW1ED7MFC82506 and let me know what further updates I may require?

I took my 21 PB into the dealer to try and get Bluecruise activated/working since my maps showed an expiration of 10-12-2022. At that time I was at 22095 (Rev 421) and had not been receiving any OTA updates (other than 22-PU0727-VI-FXB which occurred on Sept.12, 2022).

My dealer recently updated me to 22192 (Rev 498) with maps updated to "hands-free driving mode available through 10-09-2073". BC still does not engage.

On a subsequent visit back to the dealer they updated me to 22293 (Rev 610), but still no working BC. By looking at the posted revision spreadsheets/tables, I believe this APIM version places me at around the 3.5.4 revision level.

I just invested in a "pet" Mongoose to try and take matters in my own hands and was wondering if the dealer may have missed some module updates.

I see the dealer performed a bunch of updates, but I see no indication they did the IPC update that is needed for BC to work. It does not seem like they even clicked the IPC update, which tells me your truck is one of the ones Ford has asked dealers not to perform BC programming due to an issue with the IPC update not showing up. It is good you got a Mongoose as perhaps @Jesse-Infotainment can help you sideload it. I am not sure if the other updates they performed are going to cause some kind of configuration issues now, but if anyone can help you, it is him. If he misses this post and does not respond, I would PM him.

3.5.3 has been sent to you twice and failed twice due to it not being able to download all the files it needs before the OTA trigger times out. It is a very common issue with this update. Your truck is on Sync 22192 so you are getting the update sent to you in the correct order. Your truck is fine.....you just have to wait for it to be resent to you and hope for better luck next time.

Your Truck is a Job 2 and shipped with BlueCruise working.

Your issue is a Config issue. very easy fix with Forscan

3.5.3 was resent yo you on 5/8 and is trying to download the files it needs. Hopefully you have better luck this time around.

Finally success! 3.53 successful download on 4th attempt I think. Sync is at 22293 rev 610. I may have missed it but I don’t remember this revision being mentioned before
