I had a PB in for an onboard scale/smart hitch issue and the invoice said an APIM update was performed and the issue was resolved.

I picked up the truck after hours and found that the issue was not resolved.

Before I call in to reschedule service, I'd like to check if an update was performed.

Can someone let me know if anything has been recently updated for this VIN?

Well here's exactly what they did:

Simply a scales calibration...zero programming...and the APIM wasn't even attempted.

Here's the list of available updates...which does include the APIM:

Anyone needing a PTS check for OTAs I will do tomorrow when I'm back in the office.
Can you check me please? 1FTEW1E8XNFC06942. 3.5.2 was two weeks ago and the bluecruise map update was a few days later. Really want 3.5.3 for the full screen. Thanks!

Clicked "check for updates" or whatever on the truck screen this morning and noticed it now says "You are up-to-date" instead of the full PowerUp 3.5.2 description that's been there since early Oct, so something is happening. I suspect the truck is receiving something so it cleared the old PowerUp description... @rugedraw will you please see what PTS says? 1FTFX1E8XMKE93061
Yup, you got 3.5.3 in your queue yesterday. It downloaded the first three files and is not downloading the rest. I've seen this happen to several trucks lately. Go to your truck and check for updates and hit update now to try and trigger the downloads.

I see you got 3.5.2 two weeks ago, but no other update in your queue yet.

Did you drop it off on the 12th? If so, they haven't touched it since then. I think your timing may be bad right now. Ford sent an update via PTS to dealers to not perform Bluecruise updates at this time due an issue with the IPC not updating. I hope they don't use that as an excuse to not work on your truck, because your issue and bluecruise programming are not exactly the same thing.
My truck (VIN# 1FTFW1E89MKD62304 ) has been in the dealership since the 16th.
In December I finally received notification that CSP#22B08 is available for my truck so I took it in. They are telling me that they cannot put it on because of CSP#21G01 (Bluecruise?). Meanwhile, I don't know when the last time my truck has received any update.
I would really appreciate if someone could explain what is going on and what I should do next. Thanks!

Your truck is stuck on Sync version 20301. That is a red flag that your APIM is locked out of getting updates due to a faulty OTA that was being sent out many months ago. They have not touched your truck since it got there other than the 16th when they connected it to FDRS, but didn't actually do anything other than a network scan. Since then, all they have done is pulled bulletins on your truck including 21G01. Yes, it is true that Ford sent a bulletin to all dealers to stop performing 21G01 until further notice.

Your truck will not get any OTA's until your APIM is updated out of the state it is in. You can wait for Ford to open up 21G01 and hope whatever tech gets your car is capable of performing the necessary updates, or get a Mongoose and do it yourself.

Thank you. It didn't install overnight and has a strong Wifi signal/connection from the house, but I know we're thinking that doesn't mean anything (only uses truck's cellular connection). Truck has been in town with good AT&T coverage for past several days, so not related to cellular signal strength. I wonder if it's a cache storage space issue for some trucks? Why would it partially download PowerUp files? Odd. And clicking "check for updates" and "install now" buttons don't do anything. I'll let you know WHEN it finally updates  (y)

The tech at my dealership and I were talking about something similar the other day. He says there's a 21 model sitting out back of their shop that 's been waiting on an APIM for about two months. Apparently the first one they got had the wrong build? So they had to reorder and there was a backlog. So it sits.

Personally I'd take the truck home until the part came in if that's what the holdup is. You should be able to still drive it.

It's a common issue from what I have been seeing lately. It downloads the first 3 files, and then it just hangs there until the OTA trigger expires.

Can someone please run my VIN? My truck is an early 2021 build and I've been stuck on 2.3 forever. I am considering buying the FDRS subscription and fixing this myself but want to make sure its worthwhile. Thanks in advance! I should also add that my truck was at the dealer last month for update issues and they said I was up to date?
