According to PTS, the OTA trigger expired. If your truck says you have 3.5.2, then you should have it. But your PTS OTA history shows otherwise. I wonder if this is the same for all the people that show this update failed on 10/27?

You seem to have a good handle on these. I have a job1 2021 truck that has always gotten updates “early” now I haven’t received one since September (3.5.2) and I checked my truck and the automatic updates toggle is stuck in the off position. Any way to check or ideas to recommend fixing it? 1FTFW1ED3MFA85347? Thank you.

Hey all, I recently posted about my B&O speakers popping and cracking everytime the door opens and the sync 4 turns on. I'm wondering if there is an update that will fix this? I'm taking the truck into the dealership Feb 8th. Any insight into the updates would be great. Kind Regards, RRH

Your truck is spitting out some DTC's that are conducive with sound system errors. I would take it to your dealer to have it looked it. There are a few threads out about this issue. See attached screenshot.

3.5.3 was sent to you over two months ago, but the files failed to download and the OTA trigger expired. Nothing you can do but wait for it to be sent again. As far as why your auto updates butting is stuck, I'm not sure why. You have a relatively new Sync version and that problem is associated with early 2021 owners who are stuck in OTA limbo, but that is not the case with you. Try resetting your APIM. Turn on the truck, and hold the radio power off/on button and forward seek button for 10 seconds or until the screen shuts of and comes back on.

Its winter here. Maybe the battery wasn't up to the right charge level? What are the preconditions again? I can't find them. I will put it on a trickle charger and also reboot the apim. My truck did have the toggle on for auto updates today. My schedule was wiped out, so I set every day but couldn't toggle the switch to on still, but today it is on... sucks I have been missing out, I am always early (job1, bluecruise early access, took PB delivery in Jan of 21).

I can't see the error code because it was over 60 days ago and it came off your OTA history. Your OTA status still says "files downloading", so I am guessing the same thing that happened to many others happened to you, which is that your truck started downloading the files and didn't finish due to a problem of Ford's side.

Thanks Mike! Every time I check for software updates, I get the message there are no new updates available. Are these updates that have to be completed by the dealer or should they be part of the pushed automatic updates, which I have enabled?
