Could you check mine? 1FTFW1ED8MFB16544
I took it to the dealer a couple of months ago and they reprogrammed a module after I complained about the speakers popping.
The popping stopped, but then I got what looked like and old update and the popping returned. I got more updates over the next few days, but they have stopped, and the popping is still there.

OTA history is below. No updates have been sent to your ACM or DSP that would cause this. Btw, OTA 6.2.0 was sent to you 20 minutes ago and is sitting in your queue. Start the truck and let it run for 10 minutes or so and that should be enough to get it to go through.

As far as the speaker pop, @HammaMan mentioned something about this recently being caused by the ACM or the APIM. Not sure what the fix is, though.

I think it does a great job in real Stop&Go. Amazing even.
And it's perfect on sustained speeds like an interstate.

But I can predict that I'm NOT going to like it's late reaction when I have a big gap and my speed is much higher than what I'm coming up on. I accept the limitations and use my own braking in those circumstances.
100% this, I give up on letting truck brake when using adaptive cruise over 30 MPH. I prefer a gradual stop not running up on cars and braking hard. Lot of people do that and it isn't great for the cars behind you. Jackwagon rear ended me in my last truck when I had to stop quick. "I saw your brake lights and didn't think you were stopping." I don't need that drama in my current truck.

Overall adaptive cruise 1.2/1.3 is so much better than stock 1.0 with everything that it does, it just sucks at braking.

rugedraw I'll be taking my truck to the dealer tomorrow for service. Is there any way I can explain to them that the APIM is programmed wrong or should I just wait for the Mongoose? Thank you.
lol you can try, but all you're going to see is your service advisor do something like this:

When the APIM was installed, it was not PMI'd correctly. You APIM is on software for an early 2022 F150 and not a 2021. The data is mismatched preventing the OTA process from working properly. Your dealer is not going to be able to fix this without involving Ford engineers.

Can you run mine? I have not had an update since 10/23 according to FordPass.

Modules with pending updates are below. Your truck is on Sync 23159 which at this point in time is over a year old, but only one version behind the latest version. PTS shows you got OTA 24-PU0223-VI-RBS in April, but nothing since. Truck is talking to the cloud just fine, though.

Can you advise on my best course of action (or non action) I should take? This is all kind of new to me.

There is nothing you can do to speed up the OTA process and the dealer will most likely not help since Ford does not pay them to update modules just because they are not up to date. Other than investing in the tools needed to do it yourself, there isn't anything you can do. Unless there is a specific feature you don't have that comes with a specific update, you can just wait it out.

No OTA action since you got 22-PU1009-TLC-CSM2 in May. You have a lot of modules pending updates, but your truck is on the latest Sync version. Try rebooting the APIM to see if it makes the message go away.
