Wow thanks. Yeah I have no idea what to do then. I don't know how important these updates are, but also I did some basic forscan changes I wonder if that has anything to do with the issues? I had a bad battery which I replaced with an H8 a few months ago and that resolved all of the battery issues, I was hoping that would fix it.

What would you do?

Very unlikely that the FORScan changes you made are at fault here.

What would I do? Borrow one of my Mongooses and update the truck yourself.

Dealer replaced my IPMA last week and everything appears to be working fine. Could someone please check my vin to see if anything looks odd? 1FTFW1E88PFC11614

The dealer will not do updates just because they are there. Ford does not pay them for the labor associated with module updates unless there is a recall or a problem with the vehicle that the update will fix.

You're going to have to drive it to see. I do see the replaced the IPMA, they seem to have programmed the new one correctly and did the calibration procedures on it after they programmed it, so it looks like it should be fine.

@rugedraw can you look my truck up again and send me the PTS pictures of what needed to be updated? Also they have my truck haven’t went to pick it up yet, can you see if they have end ran a network test on it?

Yes, network scan was done and they updated the PSCM and tried to update the IPMA, but it failed a few times and they gave up.

Thanks for checking! I have put over 500 miles on the truck since the ipma module has been replaced, and so far everything seems fine.

No, that was on 5/7; nothing has been done to it today as far as FDRS goes.

After the 3rd time it failed that they closed the update program, all it said was:

Procedure Unsuccesful - WriteDirectConfig Exception writing configuration to module

It is POSSIBLE that the update went through and it is just the config part of it that failed, but I would need FDRS to check which I don't have access to until I get home later. Do you have FORScan?

Okay. No I don’t have FORScan. Trying to decide on a laptop to buy where I can download all these things and so it my self. But wish it would update properly where I can be sure there isn’t something wrong with the IPMA and I could do the others my self.

The only OTA in your history is GWM update 24-PU0223-VI-RBS that was sent to you at the end of April. It is believed this update is to fix a n issue where vehicles on Sync 23150 like yours stopped getting updates. Hopefully you get more soon.

Your truck is on the latest Sync version and shows a few PU updates in recent history. I am a huge advocate for the Mongoose cable, but it is not needed in your case.
