I had another look on PTS, there is no history before January 10, 2023. @rugedraw would be able to explain better than I can. I am new to PTS. Have some thing figured out...:D:D
Just by what you showed me it is getting some updates as of yesterday when I activated it with FordPass, so I think if I let it bake it'll prob catch up... my compass is fixed now at least :)

PTS says OTA history is 60 days, but it stores info longer than as of last year. It won't show OTA history prior to January of 2023.

You only have the HVAC update showing and you just got 24-PU0105-CMR-FX on the 19th.

Hi there - just got my truck. Been sitting on the lot for a while and I'm pretty sure I'm behind on updates. Would you mind checking for me please? Thanks in advance!

I'd really like the full screen carplay update!

You have quite a few updates showing

Ford F-150 Request VIN Lookup Thread 1711163239091-7

PTS is showing this update has failed all of last year and Jan of 24. I am no expert as to why it has failed. It might be from one or some of the outstanding updates shown about not being installed. One of the experts on this forum maybe able to answer that.

EDIT: I just looked a little deeper and did you just buy this truck in May of 23? It shows having 91 miles on it when bought. Because the truck was not started when the OTA was sent to it, that is probably why it failed to install.

@rugedraw

hey bud can you do me a favor and check vin: 1FTFW1ED2MFB27491

Last week I took my 2021 F150 Powerboost truck to dealership because I got an error that said "STOP SAFELY NOW" and truck wouldn't turn on. I feel like they didn't do anything to it and thought maybe you could confirm some how. I dont know what the issue is. Today my truck gave me the same error and I had it towed to dealership. Maybe you can send me screen shots or let me know what you think.

Thanks
I had the same exact thing happened to me yesterday in my 21’ Plat PB, I have a FIXD scanner hooked up to my truck and watched the hybrid battery drain down while sitting in my truck… I also realized I believe I had the heated seats and steering wheel on so I’m wondering if that’s what killed the battery ? truck wouldn’t start and then after I let it sit for a few minutes, it started and then charged the battery back up and I was OK…. Very weird and I’ve been getting my front left parking sensor error randomly as well …. What did the dealer say about the stock safely battery issue? Sounds like I’m gonna be in for a visit as well.

I literally just got the truck 2 days ago. It was used a service vehicle at the dealership so technically I am the first owner. I know for sure it was never connected to the WiFi there. Thank you for info.

Can anyone offer some insight on how to get these updates kicked off. I did try the whole rebooting of the stereo, sending feedback to ford via the stereo and setup scheduled updates. Thank you again for all your help!

The OTA updates are in Fords hands. When you will get them and how fast is up to THE FORD GODS or MOTHERSHIP, as we call them. There is nothing you can do. Only thing I recommend that you get a battery maintainer and connect it to your truck. I believe alot of members use the NOCO 5 or 10 on their trucks. Ford says you need to be connected to WiFi. In 3 years I know of only 1 OTA that came WIFI. As long as you have good cell service they will come. Slowly.

With the number of updates you have, I suggest you go the buy/borrow Mongoose and a 2 day FDRS license route. You would also need a battery charger/powersupply. As I mentioned before, as these are installed, others may show up. It will be a marathon 2 days, but the truck will be so much better. The unfortunate part is that it is about a $600 investment on your part to buy the equipment.

Check out this thread. Many have gone this route. The dealer will not do it for you because Ford will not pay them to do the updates unless you have a problem. There are a lot of members here that will help you out and answer you questions. There might be someone near you that is willing to help you out. @rugedraw Has a site were he lends out the Mongoose adaptors.

Read the first page or two. Explains what is involved. At first it is overwhelming but FDRS steps you through the process. I was nervous at first, but after doing a few updates, my nervous went away.

Thanks!
You have a lot of updates outstanding. Mongoose/FDRS is probably your best bet. You have no OTA's pending.

@rugedraw .... Are you looking for a slap up side the head? (I believe is what @Snakebitten said) Your on vacation...in case you have forgotten Javier.

My 2 day license for PTS expired on the 23rd. I find that doing the look up helped me learn some of the ins and outs of PTS. It's the way I learn software. I play with the program. Unless someone else takes over, it will be interesting to see some members having withdrawls......LOL

Enjoy your vacation. Will talk when you back at home.

Don
