Thanks for the update. My truck is scheduled for a dealer’s visit tomorrow, i will have them look at a few issues i’m having with Sync . Should i have them look up the low battery issue as well ?

The dealer replaced my battery twice, the first time it was due to constant messages of systems disabled due to low battery voltage, plus Fordpass messages to start the truck. The second time the battery simply died and the truck needed to be jump started. For the battery to be replaced under warranty they have to run a test on it for about three hours and hope the machine spits out a paper that says the battery failed. This is the only way they'll replace it under warranty. It's covered fully for 3 years. The only way they'll test it seems to be if you tell them it went dead and had to jump start it. So, yes ask them to test your battery. Thanks for the update. My truck is scheduled for a dealer’s visit tomorrow, i will have them look at a few issues i’m having with Sync . The short answer: Fordpass messages are unreliable at best.1FTFW1E80PFB30011
i received a FordPass message on 12/6 that i had gotten 6.2 redo. today i check updates in my truck it shows 6.4. No FordPass message. I’d appreciate your checking my vin so i can wrap my head around all of this….LOL

Nothing else you can do.Thanks. Guess i wait lol
PTS shows Sync 21281 was installed on your truck using FDRS in Feb of 2022, but vehicle history does not show your truck was connected to FDRS on that date. OTA history shows 2.1.1 was sent to your truck in March, but that update is older than the Sync version your truck is on. Something seems off. When you can, post a pic of the "about sync" screen in your touchscreen settings.Possible to check my vin as well? Picked the truck up about two months ago and still no updates and no full screen android auto. My dealership said there's no updates pending but checking online I'd love to have more/better information!

Your truck has not recorded any APIM updates since it was built. It is still in the same Sync software it left that factory with. According to Ford, the latest Sync for your truck model year is 22294. I can't check FDRS to show you pending module updates until I get home to my laptop later, but I am sure it is there. There is nothing wrong with your truck from what I can see. From the ones I have checked, the Super Duties are not on an aggressive OTA roll-out schedule like the F150s are.Hello everyone. Thanks for the assistance. I own a 2022 F350 Superduty and your site was recommended to me as having someone that could tell me if my truck was waiting on updates. Like many others, I have not received any updates or notifications that my truck has done any updates since i received it. It was built in June 2022 with me taking possession of it in July 2022. I have asked the dealership to check for problems about 3 months ago and they told me no updates were available or needed. Next week I'm headed back to the dealership for an oil change and would like to have some information to arm myself with before having that talk again about updates.
My Sync 4, Software Version : 22026_Product, Revision 354
I'm not seeing the big screen Apple Carplay like some people are talking about so I'm pretty sure that I'm not receiving updates.
Thanks for any assistance.

Welcome to the forum.Hey folks. Man, what a great resource this forum is! I'm looking forward to being a part of it. I just picked up my first F150 a week ago, a 2021 Limited Powerboost. What a difference from my previous ride, an 05 Excursion 6.0. The F150 is still on powerup version 4.something and not yet in the 6s like I'm seeing is out there. I called the OTA team at Ford and they said my VIN didn't show any OTAs pending and that's cool, I understand there's not huge changes with them but I am wondering if they were truthful or not. I'm also wondering if there are any module updates showing as needed for my truck in FDRS. My VIN is:

Thanks in advance!
No OTA in queue. I would wait before going with FDRS. I'm sure there are more updates coming sooner than later.Just curious if I have any ota in queue. I have the mongoose, but curious. Thanks as always Javier! 1FTEW1E85NFC22840
