@rugedraw - Seeing how there is a PCM update. 1 of a few modules that I think are worth updating. Could you check and see if we both have it showing in FDRS and has anyone that has installed it found any difference. And if it is worth it to go the $50.00. We just updates our trucks on Nov 25th.

Not sure it will help u but I was suffering from truck going into low power state if it sat for a couple of days. I charged the battery correctly and then reset the BMS at the suggestion of rugedraw. All I can say now is I haven't had the low power state alarm and losing remote features since charging and doing the reset. i did have the truck site for over 10 days since then. Not sure what for sure fixed it but I am happy with the truck now. I am only on 6.2 but I tend to be a month or so later than most so hopefully in time will get up to the current 6.5.

Reset procedure.

In vehicle door closed.
KOEO (Key on engine off) wait for solid "battery" light on instrument panel..
flash high beams 5 times, step on brake 3 times,, "battery" light will flash and then go solid.
Key off.
Reset complete.

This will also reset the "days in service" which the BCM uses an associated algorithm to charge the battery based on the battery's age.

Your truck's config is fine. I have seen some weird things with OTA's the past 4 days that I really cannot explain. Not sure why the update isn't going through for you and neither does Jesse.

I'm so sorry. Is there pending ota's. I never get them. I have to manually pull them.
I know you can't see updates required.
If I remember pts showed why the Ota failed in the past.

You need PTS access which is only for Ford employees. You can pay for access, but the non-employee access is not as good as what I have access to. I don't mind checking. That's why I'm here.

Recently had a new apim installed and can now move the auto update slider to on. Should I expect to start seeing updates or will I need to go the mongoose/fdrs route to get caught up? Don't really trust the dealer. (Shocker, I know) Thank you for your help 1FTEW1EP3MKD14302
